I just did my 2011 Corolla the other day and did my lady’s 2015 Camry today. Both sets of headlights were heavily oxidized and had never had anything done to them. My Corolla lights came out great (my 1st try doing headlight restoration) and her Camry lights came out very good but not quite as clear as the Corolla. I literally bought everything you linked in your bio, all the tools. I used a roughly 50/50 mix of the Chemical Guys and the 3M Perfect It for polishing. It’s curious that my Corolla headlights came out a bit clearer than her Camry’s 🤔 given that the Corolla is older. Either way it’s a great start and I couldn’t be more grateful for your exhaustive research and wealth of information. Thank you 🙏🏽 I’ll tinker with the ratios and try out The Treatment as well as Flitz polish too. Next I’m going my 2005 Lincoln Town Car headlights.

If you watch as many of these videos as you can you'll be so in tune and confident that you'll be able to produce this level of quality sooner or later.. I had to achieve this level through blood sweat and tears research and all kind of practice and experiments I did not have a channel like this to view only fake channels with a Joe schmo who's done one headlight restoration showing you how to do it... If I had this in the beginning I couldn't imagine how far I would be now.. This is the most consistent method out there user-friendly for professionals and DIY... Thank you for watching and good luck on your headlight restoration venture..👍🏽😁 ⭐PS -over 130 videos now streaming on this channel

Have you ever tried a 2 inch backing plate/interface pad and trimmed ✂️ the sanding disks and/or the finesse it buffing pad down to fit? Seems like this setup could be helpful for tricky lights with multiple tight corners and narrow spots. You’ve done thousands of lights so you’re the man to know if this is worth a try or not really worth the effort or even necessary. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you man I appreciate it.. It sounds cliche but really I literally watch all my videos my old ones up to my current and whatever I post... Just because I had to fend for the truth in do my own leg work and research and all this shit in the beginning and go through trials and trouble and issues and all this shit because there was nothing like this out here two three years ago just a bunch of scams and people not trying to show people what to do... If I had this channel when I started I'd be light years ahead of how good I am now which I can't even imagine... And best tips is just get your practice in implement the things that I say and do and it's okay to watch others but you already know what time it is.... The proofs in the pudding and I have done so much research and tried so many different ways and so many tests and experiments that this is truly legit this is what the evolution of my headlight restoration process has turned into and even with my continued research studying and test I have not found nothing else to implement or take over what I'm doing nothing hits this level.. Thank you for your continued support.. Once you get this down it's like clockwork you'll hit this level every single time... Honestly I'd start at my oldest video I work your way up... But probably before that I would watch the video that's titled why do headlights go bad? Also the da can get it.. but I would invest in a high-powered high-speed polisher 3 in rotary... Like the AC Delco I use-I use this one cuz it's pretty much perfect for the job durable and you come by as many batteries as you need some of them you can't buy extra batteries unless you buy a new device... But here's that video I will start with and then I would watch from the oldest videos up to the newest definitely put your game above most in your area I'm sure...🤓👌...kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qtRzl7hjz5uukWQ.html

Great job!!! How long did it take you to get that good and confident that you won't make a mistake? And how long did it take you to tape off the lights? You don't have to answer but I always wanted to ask you about the guy/people who just sand down with 500 then 800 and then spray. I'm confused because it comes out looking pretty good.
@theheadlightrestorationpro
@theheadlightrestorationpro Жыл бұрын
They come out looking good and I can do that as well but I refuse to sell something that's going to mess up the headlight and many different ways and give it poor headlight health in the long run and also that will make your headlights perform at a substandard rate literally the difference between this method and the method you speak of is about 30 to 50 of lighting and extremely high ratio of long-term damage and deformities of the headlight just by the nature of doing it this way.. they don't look as good but they look decent when done this way but there's a bunch of stuff behind it that you definitely don't want to done this way... Some say splitting hairs but it's really not headlight health is serious... In 30 to 50 yards of serious.... We on the freeway are driving at night this is a huge difference there's been studies done on it.... In a couple of my videos I explained to him what I'm doing is replicating the way the factory makes them and seals them.. there's a reason why they do it this way and that's for Max efficiency the factory does not spray headlights foggy for a reason because they won't obtain that Max safety efficiency and they would probably fail safety tests... Food for thought... Appreciate you watching check out some of the other videos and you'll see what I'm talking about particularly one already at this one I'll just add the link... kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gqlkjaWmlZiuips.html

You could use it and you can produce a pretty good product.. but with that being said it won't be anything like this it's lacking the speed via RPMs which means it's lacking a certain level of heat... First of all you have to factor in things... What do people charge in your area far as reptible businesses not the guy asking to do headlights at Walmart.. Price yourself in compared to that thing that you're a beginner the honestly assess you're worth far as your skill level and what you can produce.. If you use this method and get good at it.. you will dominate anyone around you doing this. No it's a ring.. sound effects usually put them where important things are said or done before during or after..

So, from watching this video, if the combo of 3M and Chemical Guys is superior why not do it every time? Just a learning question brother! Great job as always!

Superior to what...? I don't remember ever saying it was Superior in that context.. Also nothing available is more Superior did the 3M hard lens plastic cleaner..

I think I erased your last comment on accident... But anyways the stuff that I use and recommend is discontinued.. although it is still available to purchase it is scarce.. And will continue to be so until it disappears.. Nothing compares to it let's just get that out.. But certain combinations and certain other headlight compounds can come close but are a little bit different.. So I was just showing you that one of these has super high cutting ability and the other is super endowed with beneficial oil mix them together they balance each other out into one crazy good product...

Love your videos. What would cause the meguairs headlight coating to dry with a sort of textured finish to it? I use your steps of 500, 800, trizact 3k, 7800rpm with clear lens polish.

Could be a bunch of things.. for the tune that strike a bell in my head is what polish did you use? Also did you hold the sprayer far enough away or better yet too far away? And did you follow my instructions with one layer or did you do too?..
Why even EXPERIENCED headlight restorers have a hard time getting these clear 🤬
