Why not use cerakote headlight restoration, ive used it on 2 cars and it works great , gives you wipes for oxidation, 2 sand papers for wet sanding and then the ceracoat for the headlight

The compounds you used are they paint correction compounds or specialty ones for plastic?

Wow $350 is insane! There’s a shop here in SoCal that charges $180 for headlight restoration, and they apply XPEL PPF to them backed with a 10 year warranty. That’s the only service that’s worth more than $100 in my opinion, anything else isn’t worth it because it won’t last anywhere as long as XPEL, not to mention the protection XPEL provides against impacts, coatings and 2K clear don’t offer that.

I agree, two different services. I've used the restoration kits from the box stores and they've done a pretty good job as well.

Question. You say you’ll come back and fix them if they start to fade prematurely. Up to how long will you go back and fix them? Up to a year?

Is that the only coating you use for doing headlights? I have used the headlight coating from maguires.

Crazy how you get $150! I got this surprisingly when landed my second customer. Made $300 on a husband and wife vehicle. Likely from your reputation. I’m still starting and I’ve had a few wins with my ask, but my average quote is around $120. Too many people pass, ghost, don’t commit. I’m in Orlando. Not cheap here as far as living. Idk what to do. I have my starting price listed at $89 and not a lot of bites come. Any suggestions? I can send you my work via email if that helps. Also, have you came across any vehicles that wanted the enhancement but that method wasn’t suitable? How did you handle that conversation?

You spent to much time filming the taping at the beginning and to little at the last steps?This enhancement and restoration is nonsense,You cant buff out old baked on clearcoat such as 2kmax!!?Your method is old school by comparison!! Dry sanding is the way to go,Far to many steps!! And not enough details!!? 5/10 for effort 🤔🤣😂
