I am going to try this on my beyerdynamic phones. Just ordered some.

Lately, I've been using this foam and restoring the interior dampening of a few vintage Senn I own. That got me thinking, what is this foam made out of, and what is its life expectancy? The material isn't quite so important to me, what I want to know is, how long will it last before I need to change it again?

Just received my first Dekoni pads last week for my Hifiman Sundaras...after about 9 months my stock pads stitching completely fell apart. Decided on Dekoni Hybrid pads. At first they felt really stiff but after a day or two they really settled in. They are extremely comfortable and I can tell they will last much longer then stock. And I honestly can't tell the difference sound wise. If someone was to test the FR there might be a difference but without me actually A/B testing them and going from memory they sound too similar for me to notice any difference.

The different foams are not labelled; so how can I identify them?
