There were numerous opportunities where you could have lured him into a trap. You should have asked Roque when should the Philippines take a hard stance against China, if not now. China has shown it is incapable of engaging genuine diplomatic discussions, they have repeatedly gone back on their word. In result, we lost islands. China, in the first place, has no business patrolling their coast guard in our EEZ. Roque also told you that the duterte admin is secretly repairing the BRP Sierra Madre without confirming it with the coast guard. He said that he didn't have any personal language. You should have called out roque for making bold statements without confirming it with the relevant authorities.
