Microdosing helped me get out of the pit of my worst depressive episode, a three year long episode, enough to start working on my mental health.

He is 59 & has so many mental health issues plus probable CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD know if it is common for an obsession with violence.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Please do research into your specific needs, and don't force yourself into a trip - do what feels right. Also remember that "bad trips" can be contextualized as "challenging trips" whereby the psychedelic can bring any trauma or unpleasant thoughts to the forefront of your experience. Often this can help us confront the issues that cause our anxiety/trauma/depression etc. head-on.

I'm Audhd, have c-ptsd and have experienced psychological manipulation and gaslighting by my mother. I don't know if she's narcissistic, or if the nature of the abuse was narcissistic (if that's a thing) and I don't have contact to my parents anymore. If it helps, acid has helped me accept that what happened to me isn't my fault. I clung onto that idea, because it gave me a sense of control, like I was the only one who could shape my life. Acid made me first lose control of my usual cognitive function, which is how I was able to neutrally assess what those functions are for and whether they are really good for me or anyone, even if I rationally already knew the answer. But building a sense of self worth is an ongoing process and while acid basically started it, it took a lot of reflection and work to get where I'm now. I wish I could say my therapist helped with that, but she really didn't. If you do decide to try psychedelics, learn more about it first, knowledge is the most important safer use rule, secondly make sure a trusted person knows about the plan if possible and can help you in case you need it or even be with you for the trip, lastly best case would probably be to have actually good therapy where you can talk about the experience and introspect. Every psychedelic is different, and just because acid helped for me, doesn't mean it will for you as well. Yet a different psychedelic might work. It's very individual
