My daughter had 2 seizures end of 2020. She has since been diagnosed with epilepsy and we hope she will grow out of it . This is when my health anxiety went to a new level. I am aware that she knows how much I worry about her as every cough or cold she has, I worry it may trigger something. There is no end but I have became more aware of the negative impact my thoughts have on her so with I’ve learned to relax more and be a better advocate for her . It really does help to create distance in the thoughts and realise that my health anxiety thoughts do not make my fears reality for her. You are so right Dennis. My son is suffering from anxiety because I always been in a constant worries and guilty myself. I was a single mom since my son was 3 months old. I was always and still am over protected because his father wasn't in his life. And yes I always felt guilty. I am now 58 years old and still learning how to let go. I'm also a very sensitive person. I didn't think I had anxiety until I started listening to your videos. It breaks my heart to see him suffer. He lives very isolated, doesn't want to connect with anyone. Great video i have 4 kids and worry about them alot. I have a 1, 5 , 10 , 11 year old and i do not want them feeling rubbish like i have because its been a real waste of time and you miss out , i don't want that for them at all.

Im.a single mum. I have obsessive thoughts about my child's health. I have a 16 year old who has come through stuff ok and I have a worry over my youngest son who was severely depressed two months ago. He goes out and I worry. I was over protective as a child and never went out until 18 as my younger sister died

Oooohhh this is one of the last things I really struggle with…

My mother have bad anxiety and anxious worrying like crazy when she's young, are that's one of the reason I have anxiety and anxious thoughts? my mother is completely cure right now but it can relapse if she got sick and tired her anxiety will comes but she can handle it better now because she always think of me I'm always sharing with my mom talking this stuff when my anxiety comes she the only family thats understand me but sometimes she angry at me too she told me to be brave and I'm okay, she also told me she is worse then me when she got this anxiety and anxious
