❤Never an alarm for me either. I am up at 3am most days and get to the gym a little after 4. I love my early morning time!

LOL. I know. I wish I could sleep in longer too.. but it makes no sense to me to just lay in bed wide awake and wait for morning. Also, not sure if i mentioned it in the video, but my husband has been begging me for years to sleep in. Poor guy has moved into my schedule, unwillingly. lol

I just happened to stumble upon your channel, I’m 50 and trying to lose 30 lbs, never had any type of weight issues until the last 7 yrs, so it’s been a challenge as a former thin never gain weight gal in the past how to eat different, I look forward to more videos 😅

Good to see you back posting on you tube. I love your high protein meal and shake ideas that you've done in the past. It's hard to figure out new meal ideas when trying to raise protein intake

Thank you for sharing this info with us, I have 60 pounds to lose for the second time, firs time was with keto but regained it all now I am stuck. I am in do much pain after adding carbs not sure what to do ?

Thanks for watching the video. I know it's frustrating. But I'd hesitate to blame all carbs for your pain. What type of carbs have you added back into your diet? Have you been able to stick with simple foods like rice, potatoes and fruit? Or are there other things that could be the culprit.

I am exactly the same way with my sleep. I wake up on the dot everyday at almost 5AM. Today it was 4:30. I have never used an alarm to wake up myself. It is a crazy curse. What is the workout app that you use? Do you ever get knee issues with your running? How many times a week do you do 5 mile runs? Why do you drink distilled water? Great video. I enjoyed this a lot. 46 years old here and feeling the changes in life as I creep toward 50.

Thanks for watching @jjb1029! The app is the Strong App. www.strong.app/ I run 5 miles most days of the week. (7 days... I like running! LOL). My knees have never been a problem, but it's my hips. EVERY year a different part of my hip starts to ache as my miles increase through the summer. It usually doesn't happen while I'm running, but after, so it hasn't stopped me from running. Throughout the winter with fewer miles it goes away, but then it pops up again the next season somewhere else. I also have a high hamstring tendon that I believe is strained. I started following a guy who talks about that specific injury, and he recommended NOT stretching any more because it would just aggravate it. So, I stopped stretching my hamstrings, and it's been a GAME CHANGER! I drink the distilled water just for the taste. I'm a water snob and I started buying distilled water at the store and drank so much more water because I could tell the taste was better. But, not wanting to throw away 7-14 plastic gallon jugs a week, i bought the distiller, and I've loved it! And yeah, getting close to 50 just stinks! haha!

I started it because it was prescribed by the first coach I hired to get ready for my first bikini competition. I've kept it in because it claims to help with muscle recovery from a stress inducing workout. To get back at another workout the next day, I want max (and quick) recovery.
