Thank you for this Amy. Purchased your 1,200 calorie plan and have successfully lost 20 lbs in a year. Not only that, but I have consistently been able to lift weights and do cardio for a full year. I encountered many setbacks… Bovid, an allergic reaction to 2 antibiotics, my mother’s injury, traveling endlessly, and the mental battle of second guessing myself. All this to say, I am incredibly proud of myself. It’s not just about the weight. It’s about learning not to self-sabotage or make excuses for myself. Learning how strong we are and how capable we are of changing our self talk and life habits! Wow.. Getting teary. I even met the love of my life bc of the mental transformation that this started. My self confidence improved and that alone helped me realize inner and outer strength can be synergistic! Thank you so much!I have gained a little back, but I have since started therapy in order to cope with my emotional coping response to food… I am more positive. Being petite makes it a little harder to lose weight. This is no longer about just losing weight, but challenging myself mentally and emotionally. Seeing you succeed was very encouraging. You are truly an inspiration! God bless ☀️

THANK YOU FOR SHARING!! Seriously, I love this and I'm so happy for you! I was just sharing with someone the other day that I LOVED losing weight, and not because of what the scale said, but because for the first time In my life I was keeping the commitments to myself, and that gave me more joy and self-esteem than fitting into smaller clothes! thanks you... thank you!! I hope you keep in touch with your progress!

As someone who’s been doing Bright Line eating for over three years, I appreciate your very honest review! I will say, however, that had you been able to cut the diet sodas and sweeteners, I bet you would not have had the same discontent and boredom and restlessness around not eating between meals. It’s crazy how much sweeteners give us cravings.

Made this last night, was ready for it to be kinda 'wet' but it wasn't. I went a little harder on the top cheese. My wife who's on Weight Watchers loved it, said "this feels like I'm getting away with something". Oh - I also used a bit less zucchini and put some konjac noodles in those layers, thinking it might make the texture more lasagna-like. That worked fine, but it wasn't a big factor either way.

I've been doing the maintenance plan. I changed the salad to 2 more ounces of veggies. I also have diet coke, a piece of sourdough bread, and a small desert. I don't have an addiction, so i don't feel compelled to get rid of those things for life, but i like the structure of it when i get a little off track.

I make mine with the same exact cheese but egg beaters instead of egg whites basically works the same and calories are almost the same and egg beaters is allot more versatile as I can make a mini omelette and put it on my chaffle sandwich. One concern is the Fat free cheddar has more sodium than the full fat or 2%

Thanks for all the info u provide. After seeing that caramel syrup I had to look it up! It looked too good to be true. I was disappointed to see the ingredient list though, including carrageenan and sucralose, a recipe for potential gut issues since sucralose is one of the worst artificial sweeteners for the gut biome and carrageenan has shown to cause potential tumor growth in the gut. I wish companies would use a safer sweetener and thickener so we don't have to put our health on the line in order to reach our health/fitness goals. I may attempt to make my own homemade caramel sauce using something like allulose to sweeten it. I usually make one with coconut sugar but it also contains 4g sugar/ tsp and 20 calories 🤷

What is Bolthouse dressing? Is it fat free? What r the ingredients? I've never heard of it but I don't use salad dressings bcz I've never found one without crappy ingredients.
@HealthBeet4 ай бұрын
Bolthouse is a lowfat yogurt/buttermilk dressing. It's sold in the refrigerated section of the produce department. I think the ingredients are OK., but you might want to check the label to decide if you think they are good for your standards.
