Try these 3 simple, but healthy snacks recipes that can also be used as a healthy breakfast. Use these healthy snack ideas to make your week easier. I make maple cinnamon almonds, energy balls, boiled eggs, and get fruit ready. When healthy food is in your refrigerator, you will make good choices.

Energy Balls/Protein Balls Recipe: 1 cup rolled oats 2 TBSp Chia seeds 4 TBSP ground Flaxseeds 1/3 cup honey 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 cup add ins (nuts, seeds, chocolate chips, dried fruit, coconut) 1. stir ingredients together 2. wet hands and form into snack size balls 3. refrigerate for up to a week.

Maple Cinnamon Almonds Recipe: 1/4 cup maple syrup 1 TBSP. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 2 cups almonds 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Whisk together maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt 3. add almonds and fully coat. 4. Bake for 18-20 minutes 5. Let almonds fully cool and store in an airtight container.

I love these ideas and can't wait to try them! I wanted to share an easy healthy snack that I started making again, that I have fond memories of growing up. We usually only had for special occassions. Drum roll please....celery sticks suffed with cream chees and chopped up pimento stuffed manzanilla olives! So yummy! Tastes better after refrigeration-at least to me! Not something I eat often but when I want a more savory snack. I'm curious if you, or anyone else has had it before...? (Of course ants on a log are good too! Aka celery with peanut butter and raisins) I enjoy your channel! ❤

Great snack ideas. I’ve heard that oats are one of the grains that are heavily sprayed with glyphosate and so we should use organic oatmeal from a reputable source.

You are right! I use the old container to hold my oats but buy the organic ones now from a local amish store. I need to say that in a video because I didn't know I should buy organic, until people like you commented in videos! I always learn so much from comments and am so thankful that you share!

Love all the snack ideas. Thank you. Chocolate collagen powder added to the Energy balls is great to add for more protein and very tasty add in.

Great idea on the snacks. They are look great and easy and quick to make so I will be trying all of these. I didn’t know you could do eggs in the instant pot. Thanks for the great tips!

Hello, Nancy! I have never made it. I am going to have to do that. Mostly since I use the refrigerator and freezer method in my home to lower the glycemic index.

It is a natural sweetener. I like to use ingredients that are real. You could substitute and use honey.

I love learning things from your videos. You’re honestly like the mother I never had, you teach so well, useful life tips ❤️ Have you ever tried carob? I can’t have chocolate, it’s a substitute for chocolate. I’m experimenting with it now, it’s supposed to be healthy!
