Heartland Season 17 Episode 8 broke my heart on so many levels, because we have to say goodbye to a well-written, interesting and a lovely character. Yes, sadly, in this episode Caleb says goodbye to Heartland, and I wish he could stay. I really love Caleb, and I also love his friendship with Amy. But on the other hand, I believe he did the best thing he could for his son, and I hope he keeps paying a visit to Heartland in the future.

Kerry James, (aka) Cabel his decision leave Heartland be closer to his son.This scenario well gave Kerry James the opportunity to other projects an return to Heartland at the same time. I’m glad the writers did it this way ♥️

Kerry James left Heartland because he has an expanded role on Hallmark Channel's show 'The Way Home' where he plays Nick Oats, just like when Kevin McGarry left Heartland for Hallmark Channel's 'When Calls The Heart'. I'm sure we will see multiple cameos in the future from Kerry James, a.k.a. Caleb O'Dell; however, this is an opportunity for Kerry James, the actor, to expand his talent and experience by playing a different character in a new and fresh way.

Kerry James won’t hurt heartland like Graham did for sure , but it looks like the characters are looking at other options for a career move 💯 Amber/Graham were the heart of heartland no doubt and as we can see four seasons later Graham was the main key , fans cannot get over him leaving . Don’t know your thoughts but he is a great actor, leaves it all on the table ……

Lou is being her usual sellfish self. And I miss Ty/Graham Wardle and will miss Jack when he leaves. The show won't be the same without Amy but other than that I don't think there's anyone that I would miss.

It’s time I guess . All good things come to an end . I’m sure Amber and some of the others are doing other projects as they can see heartland may be going to end …….

Yup! Executive you did a little too much listening to Michelle Morgan Chris Potter and Amber Marshall as to the direction the show should go! They were lining there pockets and sure they wanted the show to continue as it was filmed close to home!! You just can't lose Graham,Caleb, characters Mallory, Jake,Georgi, Cassandra,Scott, Ashley,Val,Jade and likely a few more and expect the show to be status quo! Yes some characters we liked some we didn't but they played big roles in the overall show! And of course the biggest concern was the main storyline was gone(Amy/Ty)! Ya just can't replace nor should they have attempted. That story was one of a kind and everyone was focused on it every Sunday evening! Sure there were other secondary stories but for the most part they all involved Amy/Ty. As I saw it they should have ended Heartland at end of 13 with a happy Amy/Ty/Lyndy episode. Sure we all had comments they should have done this or that but the fans were united in the overall story! It's since Graham's departure were the trouble started and split the fans!!! Some had enough and just quit watching, others watched but did not like the direction they went, or the people they brought in and the new Amy image they made her out to be.(Shame on them) The small remainder enjoyed the new direction as it became there famous adult soap opera!! Something I personally despise! Have no interest in soaps!! So ya I believe this will be the last season! Interest is away down, quality of the picture is simply not there like early seasons,the actors don't even seem to be putting there all into there acting. Looks like they are reading there lines from Q cards! Plus I am sure this is last year for Shaun(Jake) & Lisa! And I do not want any more Michelle bragging how good a director she is when she is not!! Thanks Heartland for 13 good seasons! Just saying!😂😂

Your right jc The only person I see bragging on Michelle’s directing is her I’m sure u seen 17 -8 I totally was disappointed with tht episode really lame I thought . The more I think about it ur right it’s sorta a money grab for the Certain few

@@Ty-ty8ty Hi !!! you are soooo right with all your statements, I do miss the (old) Heartland, miss the people that left..and Graham Wardle that was the reason I stopped watching all together, Heartland used to be my getaway from my everyday life and struggles, looked forward to it, not anymore that's for sure, blessings..

He left as he has other commitments with another Hallmark show. That plus this will be the end for Heartland! Shaun retiring, Lisa gone!

I would say Kerry’s character run on heartland is over. He and graham can do podcasts or whatever maybe imo ?

i feel like kerry james isnt leaving hertland forever, i feel like he needs to give caleb a break, but i have a strong feeling that caleb and amy are end game. here's my theory, i can see amy likes caleb, but she's feeling like she's betraying ty, because ty and caleb were best friends and she feels like she'll be betraying ty if she dated caleb. i dont think caleb's story is done, i do believe kerry james isn't leaving heartland forever, however he's 37 almost 38 and i feel like he's wanting to do more projects, so he's going to step away from caleb for a while. but this is my theory, hate it or not i just have this theory and it kind of makes sense, but any other theories would make sense too. caleb moving closer to his son makes him an amazing father, i just dont think his story is finished, i feel like caleb and amy are 100% end game, we just wont be seeing caleb for a good few episodes - seasons, i do feel like heartland is slowly coming to an end though, i can feel it, how many episodes - seasosn i dont know but i feel like they are slowly coming to an end of this story line and were gonna see caleb and amy getting married in the very last episode of season 17 or the very last episode of the very last season. take this as a pinch of salt, i could be completely wrong but in my head it makes sense, but then again i ship caleb and amy so much so to me it makes sense.

Se terminar vou ficar satisfeita ,Piores histórias ,piores desempenhos ,piores dirigentes enfim, não tem como piorar mais .Ficou um buraco em HEARTLAND impossível preencher com a saída de Graham ..Não gostaria de ver Caleb substituindo TY, não passa na goela abaixo, quem sair por último apaga a luz. HEARTLAND, FOI BOM ENQUANTO DUROU. OBRIGADA PELA HORAS MARAVILHOSAS QUE PROPORCIONOU A TODOS.FIM!!!

Heartland perdeu a essência da série e entrou narrativas de " quem vai substituir ty" e se perdeu e cai perder maus se continuar assim kaleb ou seguia sua história ou empregado do Tim optou por sair simples assim

Another riveting episode Caleb stayed to long just as this show has stayed to long, can't comprehend how and why heartland hasn't been cancelled, the series hasn't had any substance since the end of S14 which was all about grief over TY, the show needs to be put out to pasture.

Amber should give it up and be with her real husband and her real life.Shes 35 going on 40..She did her part being Amy..She is a wonderfull girl to a grown up lady..God Amber, you made sweet girl..now life your life out with the man you got.and animals..Christ, what more do you need.
