The challenge is to play as Finland and annex USSR (The Soviet Union). Finland has some very strong defensive bonuses and we will use them to their fullest extent. Can Finland beat the Soviets? Tune in and find out.

Mahtiwaari it usually happens when youre playing a country besides germany and attack the soviets with them. They use the planes they used for the soviets to get superiority over the sea regions. I already had the British Navy completely destroyed by playing as italy

Luca Herrmann Interesting. I have played with Romania, Hungary, Italy and Finland but still Germany never does that. Bad luck maybe.

Mahtiwaari If you play italy you have to get a lot of close air support and fighters over the 3 see regions sorounding your country. I always get brtween a 75 and 100% buff on my navy in this regions and britain keeps sending their ships there. Im destroying like 2 battleships 1 carrier and a lot of other stuff while only loosing like 2 destroyers. Even the planes sometimes shoot down capital ships. Its really just abusing the Ai's dumbness and keeping your navy in this region until they destroy themselves.

As USA, make every nation in the world democratic. You can't change your ideology to fascist/communist/non-alligned. You can't join any faction, but you can create one. Annexing or puppeting territory is also not allowed.

Hey Taureor, love your videos! I think some Cornflakes-only challenges would be interesting. Perhaps a Finland survival challenge without joining the Allies, Axis, or Comintern but in Cornflakes without Waking the Tiger? Keep up the great work!

Great job! Only one thing though, you can always send a ship to recon the province you want to naval invade this can guarantee there is no troop on the land you invade.

When you're drawing an attack order, hitting TAB will swap which starting point the line comes from. Really useful for doing chain commands in weird areas.

.........If you can do this as Finland, I'm hoping my early invasion of the Soviet Union is a success. 190 divisions (so far) as Germany, just over 3 million men. Kick off around March/April 1940.........we'll see how things go!

A little tip, you should have annexed Northern Sweden since it has a ton of Steel and next to no manpower and then made the rest as a puppet.

Hmm, Finland probably is the best candidate to form Nordic Union if I recall the name right, since after you form the nation, you'll get manpower lost back with interest, but will keep unique finnish national spirit, right? So they're a potential major too now?

Always go attack general even when defending because attacks procs during defense. It's your attack vs their breakthrough. And your defense vs their attack. So attack is just better since it will stop them from moving through since attack is harder to come by than defense.

How do you get your HOI to run so well? I have a PC that can run Arma 3 and Warthunder on high, but HOI always gives me severe lag. Not even late game, I'm talking right from the start.
