That’s why no one from city, even Akanji made any fuss at all. He jumps into his shoulder as he’s trying to catch the ball. Other players on the pitch don’t need to be protected in this type of ruling because they can’t catch the ball. Simple call and comparing it to the Gabriel foul is a complete non-equivalence.
