Theo's shout for Tsimikas is actually great. We have to remember that Liverpool used to push both their full backs up the pitch to provide width. Tsimikas was almost as perfect as it gets to deputize for Robertson. The issue now is that Liverpool play a 3-2-2-3 or 3 box 3 in possession. Robertson stays back to be the third CB, with Trent pushing into midfield. However, Tsimikas isn't great defensively. Therefore, Joe Gomez has been deputizing as the LB this season, so he can be apart of that 3 back.

tsimikas is a 50/50 shout for me, sometimes he is on fire and has one very good game and sometimes he is absolutely shambolic to watch. his mistake directly lead to a goal against toulouse and against brentford he gave 2 assists... the lack of consistency for me is one of his worst qualities.
