Man can someone take me back to the 80s .....best times of our lives and didn't know it ......all the movies from that time had some great soundtracks .....what happened?!.....No way the new Top Gun movie music can be better then this soundtrack......Top 5 of all time

Loverboy is a drastically underrated band. Mike Reno was a great singer, and all the members of the group were great musicians as far as I'm concerned.

How can people give this dude a thumbs down? Seriously??? He's one of the best rock singers of the 80's! He puts his heart into it!

1986 was a great time to be alive. Love the 80's! I was a 16 year old kid living the dream. Enjoying high school with some of the greatest friends I've ever knew in my life. Some have came and gone in my life but everyone I spent time with will always be a huge part of me. Thank you!

Top Gun is my favorite movie of all time. It came out 2 years before I was born and my Dad said I knew it word for word when I was 4 years old haha. These 80's power ballad love songs are pure gold. If you're here..You are legends my friends and have great taste in music. :)

I agree that Top Gun is a great movie. I was in the US Air Force when this movie came out and thought it looked like a good movie, so I went and saw it. I loved it so much that I went back and saw it several more times. When the movie came out on DVD I had to purchase it and I don't know how many times I've watched it. I love it for so many reasons, and the soundtrack is one of the primary reasons.

Everyone wishes we could go back to the 80’s. The lives our kids are living are not the same at all. It makes me so sad. I remember back then one of my friends said to me, “ these are the good ole days” I just remembered it a few weeks ago. Boy, they were!

I was born in 1979 but the 80s and 90s were the best years in my opinion. Best movies 🍿 and music 🎵 Also the TV 📺 shows where great. The old school pin ball machines and the Arcade. I was in the United States Navy when this song came out talk about a rush this was awesome man did it make us proud they did a fantastic job on Top Gun 1 and Maverick Top Gun 2 was just as good awesome awesome job Tom Cruise and cruise. That adorable bartender and Charlie was gorgeous then. Unfortunately time set in on her and she's no longer that gorgeous anymore unfortunately s*** happens. Yes God bless the soundtracks that went to all these awesome movies they brought tears to your eyes this movie really made us proud to be in the Navy 1985😮😅😅😅😊😊😊

Notice the change in tempo about "we've been living on the edge where only the strong survive" - does that not just make your heart jump a couple beats and make you feel invincible for a minute?
