The statues at the end likely refer to the dead Hiruko kids - taka had his head cut off, shiro and mimihime lost their eyes, etc

Interesting theory. I not sure though. They show us 6 statues. Kuku, Taka, Anzu, Ohma, Mimihime, Shiro, Iwa, Nanaki, etc. We hould have way more statues if it represents hiruko. Also, Shiro did give one of his eyes to Mimihime but three statues have one eye covered. Again, can't rule it out but this theory seems dubious to me.

Hey kumo, the 58-65 chapter is released now. And by the way the foreshadow really startled me, i read the manga again quickly. By the way there are panel that is focus on takahara academy’s superhuman kids where the place is new now, its on chapter 65.

If Mina created the Hiruko children, then where did that chained up dormant Hiruko that's apparently from the Edo period that Maru and Kiruko found in the cave in chapter 44-45 come from?

one of the chapters said at the end that we're heading towards the climax, sadly. its not uncommon for manga to go on seemingly with tons of content yet to come only to be told by higher ups to wrap things up and we're left with a runaway train charging to the finish. even with how popular the anime was thats no guarantee(just look at demon slayer)

This is an excellent point. For Demon Slayer, the author chose to wrap it up early but that only strengthens your point. Anything can happen. And the Tengoku manga is monthly so there is even more chance that they might have to end early. Fingers crossed that we get a satisfying ending whether it comes in 4 chapters or 40.

Monthly. They adapted roughly 36 chapters for season 1 of the anime so it'll be a little while before season 2 would even be possible if they keep the same pacing
