For me it is simply we must clear everything that stands in the way of seeing everyone and everything as Love ... despite much evidence to the contrary that our ego cooks up and concocts ... so we need to learn forgiveness for self, others and the world we created in error with ego thoughts. me too, I was struck by both how profound and how funny it was ... funny in the sense the text pulls no punches about the ego's shenanigans and distorted ideas about what will bring us peace and happiness.

Most of us though, unless we get the information as a direct internal download or the whole book as a direct internal download as I did, you will most likely have to open the book first and see and read the instructions you are given in order to practice the application given AS instructed or even begin to HEAR what HE is saying. As Jesus says, The Course is not beyond IMMEADIATE understanding which the practitioner MIGHT actually READ first and HEAR him inform us in the book. It only takes one lesson or a few words such as the first sentence in Lesson 198.... "Injury is impossible" truly heard and ACCEPTED and your home free standing at the end of time with the author. The author cannot but offer the immediacy of salvation in every page or a single sentence.

But for me the first thing I did was read the text back in the late seventies. I was stunned by the magnificence and I couldn't put it down. I was so comforted by my own recognition, even though I could barely do the lessons over many decades, at the profundity and psycho-spiritual naming of the intricate aspects of the human ego vs the desire for experiencing our Divine connection. A lifelong quest for me, and the best game and movie in town, hands down.

For those stuck in the religion box, as I once was, do your research. Deep dive into the ancient texts of our world that were created before the Bible. Religion separates while spirituality unites us. We are all ONE. The Bible is not complete and is only 2000 years old. Human beings have been here for at least 20k years. Religion was used for power and separation. It still is. Evolution is on a spiritual level. Do not rely on other humans to tell you what you should believe. Follow your heart, and if you truly seek the peace of God, you will find the truth. When you do, you will never doubt again.

Carmel R - This is NOT channelled material. It is scribed. There is no "ENTITY" that takes over. Helen could put the pen down at any time. Talk and argue about the material with Jesus as he gave her the notes. Decide when she was ready to put pen to paper and take the notes. At the beginning when Helen was very resistant, it was very conversational just like you and I speaking with each other and again Helen could stop and start at any point she wanted to. So it was more like taking "dictation".

Like some channelled material, the "medium" feels as if an entity takes over them and as if they're not even there for the process or they have no control over what occurs and when it occurs. And a lot of channelled mediums don't really experience the process and the SOURCE and dictation of the material as if they were just talking to a friend like you and I have this conversation.

And as it happens most of the time, true diamonds are more rare than fake ones.

Helen wasn't actually a medium in the commonly thought of sense. If you read Helen's Notes in the urtext as she was scribing the first 8 chapters when asked by Jesus to take notes, you will see, her relationship with the author was really just like talking to a friend who she was taking notes for. There was no altered state, she could stop at any point, she could ask questions, comment, tell the author how she was pissed off with him about something he'd said, and receive clarification and correction as she was taking the notes.

I'm not entirely sure what YOU mean when using the term "renounce" Matt so I can't really speak to that. She told a very close friend she had to get out of the way of the "life" of the Course because she was very aware of her tendencies with regard to her association with it and also people "revering" her in some way instead of using it for the purpose it was intended. And she did de-cry her involvement with it. There's some sort of saying that goes along the lines, "You will hear the truth and you will hate it but then you will love it." Any of us who have truly answered the call and been open to the light as Helen was, understands that it brings up everything we hold in our mind unlike itself in order to be undone or "purified" from our awareness. This process can be experienced as EXTREME or INTENSELY conflictual depending on our resistance to letting of of our old way of thinking and have our self concept and past way of operating and seeing everything undone. Helen was quite strong willed and did experience intense ambiguity in light of being exposed to Truth and the residual thought system of denial she was holding in mind.

It obviously had no positive transforming effect on her life and she did not promote it at all nor follow its teachings. She spent the last two years of her life in a depressive psychotic state with fits of violence and rage. Such is the "course" of one's life when they let in the demonic realm of the fallen angels.

Any true teaching that points to Truth will echo the same ideas which reflect the experience Truth reveals..... Truth is true and nothing else is true and they will generally point to the block veiling or blinding the mind of the aspirant to this recognition. Not having personally studied the Kabbalah, I couldn't speak from experience to their similarities.

Yes she did Trash Can. She had a lot of resistance to the material she was instrumental in bringing forth into the world even though she recognized it as the TRUTH. And having been exposed to the memory of what it was pointing to, that LIGHT is very disruptive to the thought system making up the self-concept so it can be experienced as a "curse" until our resistance is relinquished and it's blessing accepted.

I like the music, just in this case it is louder than Helen's voice, we can't understand clearly what she's saying (non native English speakers here) beside that there is an original music in the background (sounds classical music like Mozart or Haydn) but adding this meditative music makes a cacophony. The interview is most interesting, thanks for sharing it.

For a person who is described by many around her as having a big ego, she is humble.

Most minds will feel a LOT of discomfort with the material C Eikan. The truth confronts the whole HUMAN belief system no matter what our 'background" and learning is. But much of it in fact, when you have ears to hear does mirror a lot of what is expressed in the bible such as in many of the psalms etc and certainly what Jesus teaches in the new testament. And the mind of CHRIST is the NEW TESTAMENT. And it does bring in the NEW wine and replace the OLD testament. But we have to let go or bring to HIM the old wine. You cannot pour new wine into old wine skins. All of our old way of thinking must make way for the new and for the direct experience that teaches what is aligned with the will of God and brings into our direct experience, the peace that passeth ALL human understanding and reveals to us what YOU and I and all our brothers and God truly are. Most of us who were brought up with the bible and were taught by minds that did not understand or remember the truth, were taught wrongly and most of us who had a snippet of sanity operating in us, when we seemed to be little children and in the face of the world we perceived, questioned what we were being taught about God, about ourselves and the world we saw etc.. and consciously or unconsciously sort an answer to these questions that would resolve the questions and irreconcilable answers we were being give through our own or others around us, belief systems and lack of understanding. Nothing that brings everlasting peace and restores the memory of what is ETERNAL and where your true safety lies is SCARY. What gives rise to FEAR and is identifying with the temporal and a thought system of separation and judgement which generates FEAR and gives rise to the belief an opposite to love is actually POSSIBLE.

THEY SHOULD FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE! It totally goes against the Bible. It’s a false Jesus! Matthew 24:3-5 “Many will come in My name, saying I am Christ, and deceive many.” What more proof does one need than He already told us, 2000+ years ago, that this would happen? Even Helen called it “that damned book.” Followers have been all brainwashed by Satan, who is laughing behind your backs.

In REALITY, there is no masculine or feminine. This Course is about Truth and letting go of all concepts of self and all concepts of duality to enter into PRESENCE.
