Rumi's words speak over 800 years as though he were with you in the room.

I love her. She could read me an obituary and it would sound wonderful.😂

Love this. Reminds me of a quote from Zen Master Shunryu Suzuki: "Rather be grateful for the weeds in your mind, for eventually they will enrich your practice."

I watched Lady Jane only for the first time tonight. I was immediately taken by the reference to Plato at the beginning of the film. I would love to hear her interpretation Plato's Phaedrus, Diotima's speech from the Symposium, anything by Baudelaire, Faun's Head by Rimbaud, The Owl and the Pussycat, and Wild Nights by Dickinson-Emily that is, or any of my poems which are not yet available to the public. It is unfortunate that she does not have an authentic Instagram account. I mean, the Queen has one.

She reads beautifully... but we didn't need the lute, which was only a distraction. "Less is more."

I liked the lute. Not her feet.

Who do you imagine you are talking to with this type of monologue where there are no characters? Same question - for how do you story-tell to an audience? Do you imagine someone you know that you are talking to, for example?
