Balance in Helldivers 2 start to become big issue in the game , and its need to stop.

I think a good example of a balanced weapon is autocannon. It is able to kill and destroy anything that you can encounter, but when it comes to heavier enemies, it struggles. It is still able to kill bile titans and factory striders but it will take you some time (not abnormall amount but still long). Also it can destroy nests, factories and some objectives and it is negated by the fact it costs you a lot of ammo, it takes your backpack slot and it will take some time to reload. In summary: autocannor is very versatile but not really op in tasks that your primary weapons or grenades are good at. So i think many other strategems should be made similar to it, either very good at dealing with swarms or heavy units and other option is to make it universal but not so efficient. Also i want to say thank you for your honest opinion and calm attitude to the topic❤ (Love your accent btw, feels like smarter then me scientist from abroad is teaching me. I like it very much ^^ )

The Autocannon only takes long to reload if you fire all ten shots. You should get in the habit of reloading after every five. It's much faster and sustainable during battles.

'' You need to rely on stragaments instead of your primaries and secondaries! '' Why the fuck would we need to send Helldivers planet-side then? hell, the game itself acknowledges this by constantly blasting you from orbit if you get the traitor status. Do the devs don't know their own game?

For terminids in general, the fire breaker is s tier due to it's ability to take out hunters easily and in number. That being said, they really need to bring up all the primaries and increase the mag size or offer an attatchment for it.

Depressing we’ve gotten to a point that the weapons being useable makes them S tier. The freak community managers like Misty and the balancing team will ruin this game while the CEO “doesn’t want to target specific employees”. I genuinely think the game will be ruined before they fire the right people.

The stratagem reliability is a bit bunk, if you can't predict enemy movement, use stun grenades, they keep the enemy right where you want them for stratagem strikes. This works for every enemy but titans.

As an helldiber that only plays on 9 with 284 hrs of game time. Most the primaries are bad. If it cant take the head off of 3 broude commanders in a mag whats the point. Your just handicapping yourselves

200 hours in and uninstalled. The bugs, crashes and insane nerfs made me stop having fun. I had a lot of super credits yet I still bought more to get the warbond with Eruptor... Just to support the devs. Then they take it from me.... I am just so done with them...

So true , machine guns would be a solution , but you need stratagem slot to deal with bile titans and chargers

Pretty stupid nerfing for a coop only game. There is not much need for nerf for this kind of multiplayer. Just buff instead.

I got as far as diligence sucks before I had to stop. Its clear from that statement alone that you do not know how the weapons work. Each one is a different play style. If you do not play to the strengths of a weapon it will not work very well. Run and gun works with shotguns and carbines because thats what they do. That play style does not work with ARs and MRs. ARs are all about flexibility and team work. Marksman rifles are for long range fire support. Understanding a weapons limitations and adapting your playstyle is part of the game. You can just charge in like a caveman and expect to solo everything. Different guns have different roles. You cant treat a sniper like a shotgun and get the same results. The whole reason why people complain about armor is because they are constantly in melee range because thats the only playstyle they know. The more you know your gear the more you will get out of it. So yes the devs know what they are doing. At least more than the mindless mob of people crying for op weapons because they cant be bothered to learn how to play the game.

The big issue with your ides of playstyle is assuming a bunch of randoms will communicate and adhere to your diverse ideal. Most people in my experince as someone who mainly plays with randoms Is people are just going to choose whatever is fun for them and do their own thing. Normally they don't even stick with the group due to wanting to do things their own way. The game needs to be balanced towards individual play and not group play just due to the average player. When people stick together and corridinate it should be a cake walk but for those who essentially play solo or not in a group, they should be able to do well in an albeit challenged way while having fun.

Everything that you said works only if you have perfect communication with your team , which most of the time is extremely hard to achieve . Because of that I play solo 5-9 levels and base my weapon experience on that . Diligence can't deal with crowd and can't deal with mediums. If you will play solo you will understand . Only reason why you now thinking like that it because you played with team that carried out you throughout all hardship's . Playing solo is only way to know how skilled you are , and which weapons are bad.

I don't agree with you , in my experience , it's all about strategy critical thinking and situational awareness, idk how many times the 500k bomb save my butt, or placing motars and they just demolish bugs and bots in impossible + missions

Everyone have different experiences and its totally fine . That's why existence of deferent opinions is healthy for our game and community , it helps us find middle ground. Thank you for sharing .
