This also applies for Automatons. I'm solo farming samples and medals, stealth is a very powerful tool as well as quickly destroying bases

A good tip I have is to drop your samples at the evac site if you're mid game and so happen to be by it. I also like to call in a supply drop and leave it at the evac site.

The rock of the super sample is a Point of Interest, so check your compass on top for the (?) Symbol and use minimap to help you find the rock

1:29 this is incorrect, you get 3 super samples on dif 7, 5 on dif 8, and 6 on dif 9. However, they always all spawn at that one rock, so no matter the mission dif, planet, or enemy type, you will always find all collectable super samples in one spot.

THANK YOU for mentioning that Divers shouldn't call in Helldivers that died across the map, IF there's a Helldiver already next to their dead body/gear. If you're out of anything to kill a tough enemy, call in something that won't help, but make it land on it. The disposable rocket launcher is particularly good for this, as it has such a short cooldown. Effectively giving it a 3rd shot when you count the pod.

Devs tweeted about armor penetration explaining how it's actually on a 10 point scale. The helldiver's are only privy to a 3 point scale aka light, medium, heavy. The way it's explained in that post could explain why that one shot gun with light armor penetration was different than the others. I'm trying to come up with a way to graph/rank them with the actual locations on the bug/robot body. Could use a simple tier list I believe

Stratagem dial ins while on the move tip; by using the arrowkeys! Important to adopt it to get the muscle memory down ASAP, because the volume of enemies increases on the higher difficulties and staying still usually means death.

Bunch of extra points worth mentioning in the Steam Guide, which I've picked up while reading reddit or playing the game since it's been 3 months since the game's release: * Super Samples - The rock concerned is known as the drumstick or "cock rock". This is useful when calling out objectives over comms. *Turrets - EMS mortar sentry is a good one if positioning to avoid friendly fire is not your strong point. The non lethal crowd control gives everyone breathing room especially defending objectives or extraction. *Diving - this can help extinguish flames and cancel out any slows that are in effect. *Diving - this can also help avoid shriekers from swooping in and attacking you *Diving - there is a one second grace period where you can aim and fire while starting the diving animation *Stalkers - the direction they are coming from is always the direction you need to run towards to find their lair. *Reinforcement - Tagging a heavy can allow a reinforcing teammate to steer their drop pod towards it. *Reinforcement - aiming for the head when dropping on a Bile titan will deal a lot more damage and likely kill it than aiming for the body *Super Samples - Just to add on the point about checking the map before calling for extraction. Always let the teammate with the Super Samples board the Pelican first. If everyone else dies, at least your team will still have secured the samples on the post game screen. *Other tips - when turning the satellite dish, listen out for a single beep sound. That means the dish is in the right position.

I think once you clear a point of interest of samples the diamond symbol changes.

I feel something about your nest extraction point is contradicting the big reddit research post about spawns and difficulty, where it seems that killing off lairs/bases increase overall spawns. But maybe that is the case for patrols as a whole and not locally so a lair close to extraction might have a bigger effect. Except if you don't go close enough to trigger the lair I guess? Either way thanks for the vid and al the great info ❤

It's official... We have Data! It would be nice if you include information on critical vs non critical areas. If you aren't familiar with this already, you can get lost when referring to the different amount of damage done like with the charger belly vs armorless leg, or body shots vs head shots when your armor pen beats their armor.

in fact, in the extraction part, destroying bug holes only makes it harder to accomplish extaction, since doing that actually reduce the number of bugs on the map, and give place to more bugs to come(as there is a limit on the amount). the "peaceful extraction" is the result of a game bug: when the bugs coming from the breach lose targets(us), sometimes, they go to the center of the map. when wearing sc-30 or sa-04, you can tag the center of the map, and there will be a lot of red dots. this also works for bots. at least by now, arrowhead hasn't fixed this(though peaceful extract is less common since they raised that limit in that shity patch)

Killed 3 Bile Titans while playing with my lvl 30 friend 2 of them landing on theire neck with my Hellpod and one with a wellplaced Adler Strike where that thing took all rokets straight to the face. Note that i only was level 5 or 8 at that time and survived on difficulty 7 for about 6 minutes cause my mate was afk, thankfully warned me about that.

At higher difficulties, youre guna want to stick together. at med diff, you can get away with splitting off into two 2-man teams, but solo’ing at high diff is only for veterans who are 20+ with the best stratagems.

Btw any BLUE light stratagem will stick to a charger and kill it support weapons resupplies backpacks and turrets all stick to chargers and insta kill them instead of using the antitank launcher to kill them use its stratagem its much faster and safer 😂
