This is an updated version of a set I did in Leeds last year, with Comedy Unleashed. This time, I brought in to their main venue, Backyard Comedy Club in London.

Comedy based in fact, by nature, shouldn't be this funny. It's just not how it's supposed to work. I love it.

what on earth you on about? comedy based on fact always much funnier as it is more relatable. he is getting funnier as he brought more facts that more relatable to people in the audience. all comedy is funny because it is based on truth or a abit skewed truth but a made up woke comedy is always trash beacuse it is not even based on anything true or relatable.

@@SNH1305 Well, comedy is based on subverting expectations. We usually expect the truth, so comedy based in truth doesn't really throw any curveballs. Take the classic Who's On First skit. We, the audience, expect who's on first to be a question, not a statement. The skit gets funnier as the names get more ridiculous. Who may be a name, like Hu, but I dare you to find anyone named I Don't Know, or Naturally. The farther from reality we get, the funnier it has the potential to be. Facts are the control we use to measure comedy. Just making things up doesn't hit the mark for comedy either, because there is no setup, no rug to pull from beneath us. I never mentioned anything about woke. Not sure why that was thrown in there.
