Came to see you at the Engine Shed in Lincoln about 5 years ago, and I must have been the biologically youngest in the audience that night by quite a few years, but it didn't matter. It was the best damn show I'd ever seen in that venue! 😃 Now where's my wallet, I need this DVD..

@@dilliekeane3484 WELL IN THAT CASE! I've been following Fascinating Aida for a few years now. I first came across your video "Cheap Flights" a number of years ago and did my diligent part in making it stay viral (fungal??). Then someone told me that if I liked that I should look up "Dogging". Once the I stopped laughing, I decided to do some more digging and WOW! the treasure trove I found! The wide breadth and variety of Fascinating Aida's work from "Suddenly New Zealand" to the tear jerking "Look Mommy No Hands" is incredible. Not to mention the highly educational "Bulgarian Song Cycles". Your world situation commentary and comedy has been a welcome respite and your song "So Sorry Scotland" has been a great lift when I'm feeling down. So thank you and yours for all your wonderful work! I will close with 2 questions: 1. When are you coming to the states? We do have 50 to choose from. Some of them still quite lovely and above sea level. 2. Why can't I find a DVD player in the states that can play your dvd's! (Is this because of some special coding or do american dvd players simply have to crash when required to pronounce "schedule" properly?)

@@bluemoon200 I wish we were coming to the USA but no plans... we need a local producer to take the risk because we need someone who knows where we should perform, what the best ad and marketing campaign should look like, who the best PR people are... I love that you love the songs. Thanks and sorry to disappoint!

Hoping the DVD arrives this week! The album is on my iPhone and has been my commute to work soundtrack for the last week. Lovely memories of "back with you" at the Arts 15 or so years back, plus thrilled by "Pam" - now all I need is a husband so he can start knobbing a woman named Pam so I have an excuse to sing it. I think I'd actively encourage it if I could sing that ;) Love some of the time re-writes like Shattered Illusions and Out Of Practice and Back With You - subtle but all to the better. Makes me realise just how much more amazing your music sounds with more than just a piano - I know it's too costly to tour with a band but when FA had a little orchestra in Barefaced Chic it sounded amazing. "Love Late" with this arrangement is SO beautiful, and "One More Campaign" sounds better here than I have ever heard it.

Can't wait, Dillie! Just had flashbacks to your final show at the Arts Theatre with Back With You and buggering the paintwork on the seat in front with me coppers for Pudding in the Ritz. Is "Pam" (?) a sort of sequel to "Joyce" btw?

Sadly, no producer has ever offered to bring us to Canada. We very much regret this so if you have any influence, we'd consider all offers!

Fascinating Aïda Not yet but I will check back on Monday. Have you considered renting or selling your filmed shows via iTunes or whatever too? I'm sure they would be popular with existing fans and probably bring new people via those "you liked X you might like Y" modern things that iTunes does to one. Plus it would mean I would not need to add to my 2,000 strong DVD collection....

Fascinating Aïda Amazon says 24th Feb for their downloadable version so assume same for iTunes? Will be worth the wait! Just got Back In Saddle DVD in the post today and will watch it after Holby City if I can remember how to work the machine...
