Coming back to this video after so long and i never realized i could miss a song this much.. I love how he talks about his dearly departed Maisy and then playfully joke about sticking Matilda under if she misbehaves. Makes me think that he will love Matilda the same as he did Maisy and he will protect her at all cost.

just a simple Army When i was about two weeks old my mom found a very small and unhealthy looking kitten with a twisted paw in the road. She took him home and the vet said he was also about two weeks old. His paw was broken not twisted and my mom nursed him back to health. He died five years ago at 19 years old. He was with me for that entire time.

ooof.... mine died 18 in June....... just keep your eye on her, anything out of the ordinary, make a mental note..... keep her up to date with jabs and check her teeth.... other than that, it's just old age and not a lot you can do about it except keep your/her house warm and have lots of snuggles, food and string :-)

My cat got run over today 😔 I buried her and cried for hours. Afterwards it brought me back to the part about Maisie. I wrote my own little song about my beloved Точка to the same melody. It really helps with the pain. I want to thank you for writing this song, it's stuck with me even after five years of last hearing it

I was just curious Katrina, but did you end up getting a new baby for your house and heart? I too, know the pain of losing a furry friend, whom you spend so much energy and time with building memories and positivity together. It hurts so much when they are gone. Bah, lousy onions...anyway I hope anyone/everyone who reads this is adding some joy to their lives. It's important, I believe.

Thanks for the love everyone! We did get a new cat, we rescued one and spent lockdown together. I was absolutely heartbroken when I wrote this message but have come to terms with it. He was a wonderful companion who I loved very much.

Mine passed away at 4 from cat flu horrible way but at least he wasn’t in pain and he seemed to be accepting of what was coming and I’ll miss him hope were all doing swell
