The entire franchise of Warhammer 40K is based on "GrimDark" and we paint them too clean.
Dark Souls is a better representation of GrimDark imo, so today I'll show you how I paint those, but you can use these techniques on any minis following the same steps.

You should try the ammo mig real rust they do, is a bit pricey though

With all the technical paints and oils I'm a newly big fan of the reductive paint method. Didn't think to try it with streaking grime! Great tips on getting the best from Dirty Down Rust too! Cheers PS. Army Painter Dark Tone is also a great cheat for all over grimdark wash imho. 👍

Get some locking tweezers for the makeup sponges, also Underworlds warbands are great small projects

Bought some Dirty Down rust to use on my Orks, wasn't aware you had to warm it up. Did you just hairdry it for a bit or something else?

Yeah I Hairdry the bottle and the surface :) very important or it doesn’t dry properly and looks chunky instead of rusty

When did you stop making Warhammer videos? I thought you were a 40K channel not a person. An AI created to just create 40K KZfaq content with no opinions or thoughts of your own. Although if you were your creators probably would’ve given you a better voice.
