Hmm, you should make a Fenrir slip lead, I would definitely buy one! As the Vidar lead is superb, just waiting for the black camo to get back in stock and I'll buy a Odin lead with traffic handle as well. 👍

Hi Will & Rachel...this updated content is great. Totally love it and this is exactly what I need to hear. We are still on week 3 of the puppy course but have had Bella for a little over two months. Unfortunately, not sure if it's my speakers but I am unable to hear you. Her recall is awful and am sure not much fault of her own...mine totally. She is 4 months old. Super with sit, stay, down, heel - come, forget it...

Hi Will. I just recently came across your videos and I am big fan. I have a 19 week old yellow lab. I have only had her for roughly 3ish weeks. She had zero training so everything she has learned, I have taught her, but running into selective recall. She knows her name, sit, stay, paw, other paw, watch me, down, belly, and come. She has demonstrated these commands flawlessly. Inside the house she follows me around, always looking for guidance, I can take her outside in my yard without distractions and her recall is hit or miss. For example: I can take her off her leash and call her to me, she comes to me without hesitation and continues to follow me around the yard. I cancwalk away from her and she freaks out looking for me; However, later that day, I will try the same exercise and she will just look at me and choose not to move. I am not sure how to correct this as it is not constant that she chooses to ignore me. Any suggestions will be helpful

I have been watching you for a while now and I love the level of knowledge you have and are sharing with the world. You really have taught me so much over the years and have boosted my confidence and my knowledge. I have a cocker spaniel called Jake who is my first dog and he is in the latter mature stage of is life, even though he doesn’t seem to act like it...spaniels! I was looking at getting another dog, but I’m just not sure what breed to go for??? It would be my second dog and although I love the spaniel breed, I fancied something bigger but still manageable. I have a teen son at home and a step son who visits weekly I would like a more guardy dog type, although I don’t want to run before I can walk so to speak. Ultimately I want to know that my step son or extended family who do not visit often will be safe to come over without being worried about the dogs potential to attack. Can you help at all?

I use a dog whistle for my 5 month cocker spaniel puppy and it's amazing and he comes back all the time. The only time he doesn't come back is if he has the scent of something or he sees another dog but I guess that's because he is a puppy and he just wants to play. For anyone interested I use a acme 210.5 dog whistle

Hey Will, I am following your perfect puppy course and I have a 3.5 month old Cane corso male. His obedience is 100 percent indoors or backyard with two things I need help with. After a walk he tends to mess up 50/50 coming home bc he just wants to come home. Also if there is another dog out and about, he just wants to play so bad that he has a dead stare at the other dog and will not break his gaze no matter what and doesn't listen to commands. What can I do to help him listen more when other dogs are in sight or healing when heading home?

My dog sometimes tries to get past the gate. When he does he sprints away. Tail waging as I frantically chase him Down and try to keep him from killing himself in traffic (our traffic is slow but heavy, we have lots of niegbors). Last week he jumped out the window of my car as I was parking (this was the first time and now I'm afraid to put the window down for him.) I've tried so hard to train a recall. He was really good with recall in a controlled environment till he was about 2 years old, then he just lost all progress. I'm literally here because I just woke up from a nightmare of my dog running away from me into traffic after slipping his collar.

Got my first Cane Corso two weeks ago. It’s been amazing. Such a pleasure. The one issue I’m having right now is, stopping him bite/ nipping the kids. I’m trying to teach my children not to run or jump around, without much success. He really does hurt them and they are getting scared of him. I’m hoping with the training I’m doing it will stop. Any constructive help would be much appreciated.

Lead walking always on heal? That would be impossible for me to do, my dogs go out to go potty and sniff/trot around on lead, with heal work occasionally being done between breaks. Had they been forced to heal constantly they wouldn’t ever be able to be dogs, not so fun for them and would be very detrimental. There are so many dogs in the area, I have to have them on a leash until I have a good recall.

Hi Will. I’m Struggling to dominate my 10 month old cane corso. He’s a stroppy teenager has tantrums walking home from woods in public. Bit a lead my gloves etc. I check him and he gets going but repeats at least once each walk. Any advice on sensible correction would be appreciated he’s not aggressive towards other dogs or people. Just energetic. He usually comes into work as supporting traumatised adults he’s currently off coz of covid

Can I as a disabled person with limited mobility be able to train a big dog as my service dog. It would have to be a dog that would protect me but would like my family to visit sometime and that is not hyper and sheds less then an elkhound shetland mix
