That plus i love watching Laura with her kind, happy, positive attitude (like a ray of sunshine) and watching her and her family work together is the best. I don't know why but watching them together i found myself tearing up. Such a beautiful family!

Who wants to take bets on Laura only tagging one tree to buy? I’ll bet she tags at least a couple more. What fun it has been watching this tree haul. Oh Laura! I have never really thought about the work it takes at a garden center to make things available for the public to buy! Such a lot of hard work, and you all do it with the best attitudes and many smiles! The trees themselves all look magnificent, and I’m going to have to watch this again and make my list of wants/needs for our own garden. Laura I know that this topic has been brought up and addressed (somewhat). But I clearly see a NEW level of excitement when you work at the garden center. You should totally co-own and run the garden center at some point. Question: Do you ever see yourself owning and running Andrew Seed perhaps in the distant future? It makes perfect sense.

Dormant oil needs to be sprayed before the trees bud up to bloom, so pretty soon. It is used to help control bugs like scale. Sometimes people also spray with fungicides at the same time, on some varieties of fruit trees.

So many trees to choose from !! I’m in NW IN zone 5B, and I love my 2 Tulip trees!! My Dad grew them from seed in milk cartons and we planted them 1979. They now 60 ft tall, beautiful blooms in the springs, and a lovely shape. They are especially precious to me as I lost my Dad in 2020. And they are from the tree where I grew up. Also, they tend to self-prune, dropping lower branches as they get taller. And they turn yellow in the fall.

Laura, you will love the Serviceberry! Do you have one yet? Here are some other names given to this showy shrub; > Shadbush, shadwood, shadblow, serviceberry, sarvisberry, sarvis, wild pear, Juneberry, Saskatoon, sugarplum, wild-plum, chuckley pear. My Grandma called them > Sugar Plums. The grand-kids grew up eating them right off the bush here in Northern Canada. Serviceberries are trees or bushes, depending on cultivar, with a beautiful natural shape and 'Edible' fruit. > The Serviceberry / Juneberry is a bird lover's delight. You will be pleased with this low maintenance shrub. As it wakes up in spring, white flowers will appear and give way to green oval leaves. Beautiful White Flowers / Sweet Smell. Red, unripened berries will ripen into 'blue edible berries' that resemble blueberries. Their flavor is unique, almost almond to the taste. In autumn, the leaves on the Juneberry Serviceberry turn orange-red. > Serviceberry fruit is delicious straight from the tree and can be used any way you'd use blueberries: smoothies, cobblers, pies, muffins, pancakes, jellies, jams, and ice cream. And don't forget sorbet, pudding, wine, fruit leather, or syrup. > Yum.

We had a tulip poplar in our front yard in southeast Alabama and it was never a mess. The blooms are lovely but not messy. The 'cones' that develop from the flowers hang on forever....but never made a mess. Then beautiful fall color and leaf drop was pretty quick once the color was done....so a run thru with the mower to mulch took care of the mess. I am looking forward to planting more popular in my new yard. The fall color is outstanding.

This was the perfect video for people who say "It must be fun to work around all these beautiful plants and flowers". It is, but there's also a lot of work involved. When you have a system that works so efficiently, it looks easy. I'm a floral designer and yes it's glorious to work with flowers, it's not just about making arrangements. Things have to be off loaded, sorted, watered and protected. Another great video, demonstrating the amount of work involved, before you can stop and smell the flowers. Looking forward to a full garden center. Great job everyone!!

Oohhhh...this was a fun unveiling too!! Sooo many options -I love many of these trees. The pictures of blooms is invigorating too. We bought our house last year after renting for 4 yrs in the same house from our landlord, but couldn't change the landscape. I moved some perennials around to make more sense in sun vs shade. Now game change this year for us on many levels. Starting for me with the lawn which I have done my best to baby & thrive but high acidic soil & areas of beachside has been challenging. Learning from my sisters greenthumb & Laura's direction has been so helpful..now it's just decisions, decisions. I love it all. Thanks for sharing Laura & Andrew's Seed

Hey Laura, I enjoy my neighbor's prized Tulip Tree every year and I don't notice any mess at all. We are on a cul de sac so I see it out my front windows. He is quite the Lawn Guru but I've never seen him cleaning up after his Tulip Tree. So plant away and enjoy!! BTY, He loved this tree so much he uprooted and moved it here from his previous home with no trouble. I'm guessing it was quite young then.

Love seeing what is going on at the garden center. Live seeing all the trees. No way I could only buy one. Thanks for taking us along.

Enjoying the tree delivery day. So many trees I have never heard of. I grow in zone 9a, and wonder why the tre tags only indicate the lowest zone the tree can grow in. I saw the Hawthorne toba. It can grow down to zone 3. I had to go to Google to figure out if I could plant this tree. It’s upper limit is zone 8. I wish you could influence the industry to give such information on all trees, shrubs and perennials. Thanks for your great program, I watch you every day.

I made my first purchase for this year at my local nursery!! Our huge evergreen had to be taken down last year :( but the fun part is choosing what to put in our yard now :)

Thanks for taking us to Andrew's, we love it! Great to see your family working together, and all of the behind the scenes. Laura heard a Tulip Poplar is messy? Not sure why someone would say that. We left a full grown Tulip tree at our old house, and planted another at our new house. They have a great shape and are easy care.

Thank you for sharing the unloading of all these marvelous trees and shrubs! I need more land! So many varieties. Friends have already accused me of having my own arboretum. This video is encouraging my obsession. I have a 40 year old weeping cherry that has seen her best years and I have been looking for a replacement. The weeping red bud you showed may be a contender. I love the fact you have chicken chores! As I finish writing this post, I am also going out to tend to my tiny raptors. You and these videos are a bright and inspiring part of each and every day for me. So much gratitude.

Tulip trees are awesome!! Blooms make me think of a water lily. Seem to be the first blooms in my area of PA. Mess isn’t any worse than the golden rain tree!

Your driving the forklift reminded me of my late teens and early 20s. I drove a forklift but mostly it had a 10ft pole to move carpets. Thx for the memories

Loved the grand tour! Living in Southern California, I suffer a certain jealousy 😄 about the space you have to grow gorgeous plants/trees and the variety that thrive in your climate!
