This is so eyes opening N though I am an orphan but I feel deeply the need to be apart of giving love to others I am learning n understanding this in how to go about it day after day for needy,traumatized, depressed people in and around the world for God's glory!

Our homeless situation in California is not at all a "poverty" situation. At least not poverty in the monetary sense. BTW I attended a "Helping Without Hurting" seminar at a church in Santa Rosa, sponsored by the Redwood Gospel Mission. Part of it resonated with me, certainly not all. For one thing, our actions cannot be motivated to serve our own ego. Ask, are you acting to really help, or just to make yourself feel better or more important? The director of the Mission, our Mission that is, the one that sponsored this seminar, has said homelessness is not about money, or housing or high rents, but rather about relationships. Homelessness is about broken relationships.

Well first 2min cause a separation you the poor and then the rest of us saying that the poor are different some how? The next 2 min he talk about poverty from a Biblical view point. This guy has never read the Bible?. Poverty is a result of Fall ya, but that is to simple. Their has always been people that like to take to much from the common good and will kill to keep getting more therefore the ones with the most are wealthy and the ones that get short Changed. This sin is never talk about in wealthy Evangelical American Church's. They view this the opposite . Were if your poor your the sinner , but the Bible view point especially in the Old Testament its the other way around. Examples Abraham and Melchizedek going to war against 3 kings that were taking to much of the land and the rest of the country side starving. King David took more land than he suppose too. their are many other examples. Others would be Subjecting a people into poverty such as the Romans did to the Israelites. The Next 4 min shows cause of Poverty around they world ? My first question would be to these people not what is poverty but how did you get here. Mostly a new Regime came power and disenfranchised certain people certain rights base cultural or even a different tribe the tribal warring In Africa have been going on for 100s if not 1000s of years. Poverty is a systemic issue its a morality on the individuals that are poor. These people didn't cause e their poverty. They wealthy cause poverty its that simple. The wealthy have more access to the government to create policy's like lets bail out the banks for bad behavior. No child labor laws in some countries. No environmental standards. To keep the population healthy. The Wealthiest Americans make trade deal poor people don't make trade deals. A corporation under this trade deal is allowed to go to a country loan the country money that could never repay the duet because the interest alone is more then countries GDP. So the Corporation by proxy gets all recourses in that country and makes over a 100 percent of the value. Basically taking any wealth that country might have so its people could benefit. The FED and Corporations and Wall-Street now want to do this to America that's why we see the Wealthy richer than ever and more people slipping into poverty. What's incompressible is that people in government who blast their faith in campaign speeches and then get elected. Are doing the devils work. Its a morality issue for the wealthy not the poor. When all the wealth of a country any country is controlled by 1 percent of the population you wonder why we have poverty. The wealthy know they can do this so they can if they keep generations in poverty they know they can break a persons hope and spirit. This book is on wrong side of this issue.
