Very interesting stuff as always! Mostly shooting through the collapsed houses with different heights, which I never bothered to test really. You probably know already about these things, but other important stuff to note are the fact that artillery units like mortars and mostly Katyushas/Werfers/Stukas will end up hitting the house in front of em if they are positioned too close. Or the fact that some units can shoot through non-collapsed houses, mostly notably the PAK43 which doesn't even damage them. Or in the early game, where if a house if wired on both sides, the building can then be used from both doors until one of the 2 doors is cleared. Also, this is a bit of a cheeky one, but if you spot a mine near a house with a sweeper, you can then let him initiate the movement towards the minen and then enter the house afterwards, so he will clear the mines (even multiple minefields) very quickly and in safety :')

Thanks HH, I never knew the peculiarities of when shells will get through the house. I always though players that would try to shoot through downed buildings were just stupid until now.

Thank you for another wery useful and interesting video. My suggestion for a future 'tip of the week' would be based around map tactics. You very experienced players know which locations to rush / plant mines etc. Also certain maps are mentioned as being favourable for particular factions; I think it would be interesting to have this illustrated

That, in particular, cost me a lot to decipher on which were the best for my faction until this day. Been playing for 3 months.

i got a suggestion of a topic to cover: can you highlight the differences of Bren Guns, BARs, STGs, MG42 (LMG version), MG34 (LMG version), and DP LMG? from my meager experience, i use Rifleman squads with BAR upgrades, but there seems to be not much upgrade in firepower, while there is a marked improvement for a Grenadier squad firepower when an MG 42 LMG is added (cmiiw) another suggestion, can you rate infantry squads based on their effectiveness? i notice the Conscript squad to be the worst squad in trading shots, as they can hardly kill anything unless in 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 scenario. thanks Hans, you are a great help to COH2 players :)

Infiltration units will disagree about the usefulness of #useless buildings and trenches. Super dirty strats, but infiltration commandos can come out of trenches. Basically, get your infantry sections to build one on the corner of the map in enemy territory early in the game and start spawning commandos behind the enemy's lines.

Had no Idea, small flamers could set a house ablaze as well, great to know. I think you should have stated whether the forward base reinforcement costs more than at base like with the half-tracks or not. (EDIT: I was wrong about reinforcement costs...)

always unload HMG out of a house as far away from the bloody house as possible: hmg are retarded since drinking schnapps this morning, and so they will start setting bloody mg right where you sent them. if you sent them just outside the burning house surrounded by enemies, that's usually bye-bye for the merry hmg team :D Cheers! o/ :D

Hi Hans wanted to understand Vetted up units, for example had a OKW p4 vet 4 and missed its target 6 times in a row, at close range. I would have thought that ok with early tank crew but a vet 4 unit should be better than that surely.

How do u get zoomed out so far? I understand that this is a custom game but even when ur matchmaking, ur game zooms out further than mine

Are light tanks\armored car spam considered as op? Cuz when i play osther i allways try to make mgs and this sdkfz as fast as possible and then i can easy push enemies to base controlling all map

Hans I have a question: I recently bought this game and I'm having trouble finding matches almost like the game is dead, I go to coh 1 and I find a match within minutes. So how are you still able to play matches in this game? Because every time I find a match it's a godamn miracle! Would much appreciate some tips from you or any other reading this comment with the solution.
