Years ago when I was in art school, I served Henry Rollins a series of espressos with ice water in a Toronto restaurant. He was so low key and polite that I wasn't sure it was him until I saw his tattoos. It's been said that you can tell a lot about someone by how they treat a server. He has been an inspiration to me ever since. Whatever he turns his hands to will always be engaging.

ey yo- I found this interesting...I'm from the southwest but my grandparents were from AZ/CA & they both had accents that would be indicative of another region. There was "warsh". There was "Sundee & Mondee". There was "that there"...as in "Give me that there warshcloth." :) They were born in the mid-late 30's - I wonder if that makes a difference? I read the NY accent of Woody Allen, Trump, & Bernie Sanders were all from more a different era, than a region per se. And they were all born in the same time frame.

You can see the scars on Henry's torso where he would cut himself with glass after gigs in Black Flag, I am sure there is even picture of him doing it on stage, rad!
