Happy Sunday everyone! We are officially a swim family! Tyanna competed in her first meet and did amazing! She was the youngest swimmer there and finished all of her events. It was so much fun!

It feels strange because a week ago I never even heard of the Schoellers. Now after watching a lot of the videos, I almost feel like part of the family. It's an honor to be here experiencing a lovely life journey with this family:)

I literally cried at how well she did and the smile on her face when she completed her laps! She is getting so big! I am so proud of her! She has done what some grownups have not done. Amazing work Tyanna!

I watched Tyanna's swim meet with the biggest grin on my face, smiling ear to ear and yelling just like John, go Tyanna, go, you've got this baby girl, you're doing it, etc. This is what a Happy, Loving, Kind family looks like.

Schoeller Family - I cannot tell you how much I enjoy watching your videos featuring Tyanna. I love witnessing the pure and beautiful love you all have for each other. In addition, it makes my heart swell that you are always introducing Tyanna to so many different types of adventures - especially swimming. Far too many Black people in this country believe Black people do not swim. There’s an ugly history behind why that rumor still exists today. It would be great if Tyanna could meet a couple of swimmers who happen to be Black, swam meets in the Olympics and medaled. I myself love swimming and I happen to be a Black American. I love how you are giving Tyanna the opportunity to try so many activities. We had a large pool, with high security fencing. Regardless of the safety features, I began teaching her so swim at a year old. She was an accomplished swimmer by age 3. It became her passion and she won so many medals in her school years. Swimming is great for children. Tyanna will continue to love it, regardless of what position she reaches.

I love watching Tyanna swim! Brought me to tears. My sons, who are 17, and 18 now, began swimming at her age. I remember their first races, and it is such a joy to see her practice and compete. We are in Cali, and now deep into water polo. They go hand in hand. The aquatics community has been amazing to us, and I pray the same experience for you all. Blessings on your beautiful family.
