I need one of those cordless vacuums for vacuuming cars real quick before I work on them. I’ve been on the fence about the Hercules cordless vac but nobody had reviewed it. I think I’m getting it now thanks.

I bought one about a month ago. I have a couple of wall mounted shop vacuums and a floor one too. I'm always making small messes while working on otherwise clean projects. I wanted to be able to just quickly pickup those messes and move on quickly. I bought this vacuum specifically for that. It does a great job. I've used it for cleaning up after: cutting a piece of brass rod, drilling some holes, some quick jigsaw work, cleaning dusty shelves while doing some reorganization. I had one unexpected project for it. I also bought the 20v orbital sander and used it with the vacuum to put a smooth surface back on a work table in my laundry room after a contractor gouged it up. I do recommend using the larger 5ah batteries. It does seem to run better on them.

The Hercules is only 2 HP but I like it for small messes, really easy to grab it, throw in a battery and get it done.
