Just got a used 2018 Honda Odyssey after having our third child, and it is seriously the best car I’ve ever purchased. The room is so practical, and it has all the bells and whistles I’ve ever wanted in a car: blue ray Tv, vacuum, automatic doors, smart key, sun roof, cabin camera, heated seats that are leather, etc. Plus it’s safe!

I still love my 2006 Odyssey with almost 200;000 miles and no problems other than regular maintenance. This model is a tank and a work horse. 14 years old and still drives like new, really fast pick up for a 4500 pound vehicle and handling is respectable. Don’t like the new transmission button shifter but new Odyssey is kind of nice in my opinion compared to the previous models.

I grew up in the 70's & 80's when we had station wagons for family transportation. I remember laying in the way back in launch position as we drove across Montana in 90+ degree temperatures and we couldn't roll the windows down because of the gas crisis. I remember wishing we could watch TV as we sweated our way across the state. I had my kids late into my 40's and we are now on our 2nd minivan...a Pacifica. I can not tell you how much I love this vehicle. The kids are comfortable and better yet, quiet because they are each watching their own DVD player. I don't even think they are ugly because, well, I grew up riding in a green 1972 Ford Ranch Wagon. Of course, I do have a GT350 to drive on weekends when we aren't doing something family related!

I had the 2017 Odyssey then decided to switch to get the 2019 model. Love the all new interior and body design.

I grew up in a variety of different minivans and the 2007 odyssey is one of them. It was top end for its year. Honda really accelerated (pun intended) over the years in technology. To where I think Honda has hit the tip of the ice berg. The cabin talk is probably the coolest feature. It’s like one way to say that you’re not just a mom, you’re a cool mom! But the camera to view the back seats. People say cellphones are dangerous but to move around that camera while driving is more dangerous then a cellphone. Then you have all the picky options for everything in that dash. I mean, if someone spent the money on that car. They better keep it until it dies because that car is loaded and would waste your money if you replaced it early.

My 2008 Kia Sedona (minivan) has the same 5 ways to open the sliding doors: Buttons up front in overhead console, button on B pillar, handle on inside of door, handle on outside of door, buttons on key fob. It's not that new, but it shows that this is the first minivan he's ever been around. Also, CabinTalk makes his voice sound like something you'd expect from a 1970s David Bowie sci-fi flick. Or a 1980s pinball machine.

I test-drove one of these (it was a 2021 Elite, silver) on Monday, October 26. My conclusion was that it would be the perfect vehicle to have as an Uber driver. I found it easy to drive, with good visibility, and it's probably the safest I've ever felt in a vehicle. It's a supremely nice van, I'd rather have one than a Pilot for the price. Also, I'd highly recommend Gallatin Honda, it's a great dealership. October 30, 2020 12:30 am

I have a 2007 odyssey that is the nav package with leather seats, touch screen nav in front, and DVD player! Was 35000 originally but is paid off now and it has around 170000 (a little less) but I absolutely love it. I have if because it was free but I have grown to love it

So many SUVs today are basically minivans without a sliding door. They've got the same captain's chair and 3rd row setup minus the huge rear cargo space. It's always fun to watch people struggle to carry furniture in their SUV which weighs more than my minivan. I just need to slide the 3rd row down and push the 2nd row over and I can fit an entire sofa without hitting the roof.

Here’s what crazy. My 14 year old Odyssey has most of these features. The tech is dated but the door functionality, seat movement (excluding side to side), cabin view (mirror instead of camera), seat configuration and fold down, and rear view camera is all there. I even have the DVD player and sunroof. If anything you made me realize I don’t need to buy a new minivan anytime soon.

The HDMI port would allow someone to bring their Xbox or PlayStation along, and since the the Honda Odyssey is in Forza Motorsport 7 for the Xbox One, you can drive a Honda Odyssey while being driven in a Honda Odyssey... Making this the most memetastic vehicle in existence
