It's in our Charter of Rights and Freedoms to be able to get bail as the accused has not been convicted yet. Liberty is only taken away after being convicted of a crime, not accused of one. The real problem is how quickly prisoners get early releases and during prison no reform has taken place, so they get out and immediately re-offend.

Kanthalas: Bail must be granted by the courts. If a criminal is deemed to be a danger to the public then bail is refused. The problem of extreme leniency by the courts is the problem resulting in dangerous criminals being allowed back onto the streets while awaiting trial.

The biggest difference between when conservatives and NDP or liberals answer a question is that conservatives actually give answer on HOW they are going to make things better and cost less overall. NDP and liberals attempt to appear to emphasize with the lower income people that things are expensive for them. They don't actually attempt to fix the problem. Their sole plan is to just give tax payer money to the most poor. As we have seen that way of doing things causes inflation and they raises taxes causing a decrease in lifestyle for both lower and middle class.
