A much-requested lesson on one of McCartney's prettiest tunes.
My tuning is DGCFAD (Standard down a whole step). Simply tune up a whole step to concert pitch to play with The Beatles' recording.

About Josh Turner Guitar
Joshua Lee Turner is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Josh is best known for his KZfaq channel Josh Turner Guitar, where he has been posting eclectic cover performances and original music since he started the channel in 2007 at age 15. Josh now tours internationally in support of his own original music, as well as with long-time collaborator Carson McKee, as the folk duo The Other Favorites. In August, Josh released Public Life, his second full-length album of original music.

I recently lost 2 fingers in an accident on my right hand, and this content is keeping me in the game. I can't fingerpick anymore as i used to but it is very inspirational. So many songs to learn..

Great Josh, I have to say though, the tutorial that MUST be done is for “still crazy after all these years”. Yours is THE arrangement to play. It CAN NOT be improved upon.

Two things leap out of this video. Number 1 is the genius of Paul McCartney. Number 2 is the genius of Josh Turner to be able to break this great song down as he has done, rearrange it in a way that allows him to perform it solo without desecrating the original, and at the same time articulate his technique in such a knowledgeable and eloquent manner.

When I saw Paul McCartney live at Metlife Stadium, I was prepared to hear songs like Hey Jude, and Let it Be. I knew they would have strong effects on me, hearing the man who wrote them perform them live. Then with no introduction, he went into Here, There, and Everywhere, a song I wasn't preparing myself to hear, and I absolutely started bawling. Such a beautiful song that should be up there with the likes of Let it Be and Hey Jude. Definitely going to take some time to get this cover down, thanks Josh.

You have such a careful ear and an uncanny ability to pick out the elements that absolutely define the music. Even on pieces with 7-8 musicians performing, you by yourself (and also with Carson) are able to evoke the fullness and richness of a song. An awkward compliment from a longtime subscriber, I used to be surprised by your vids but Josh, you are an amazing force who has truly mastered his craft.

Just an amazing arrangement and interpretation... harmonies for vocals all built in. Great job ( camera positioning with contented cat background) making it so easy to see what you are doing at both hands... it will be hard enough to get this one all down - but worth it so I hope by end of summer ahead... Looks like it is branded with the Wurlitzer name on the headstock. Are you guessing mid-60's? I thought it might be a rebuilt Baxendale custom, but it doesn't appear to be....

I know these tutorials don't get as much love as your normal videos, but I just wanted to say I really appreciate them. I feel like this and Paul Simon's Still Crazy After All These Years are two of your best covers. I would love a tutorial of how you played that song too. Or even just more Paul Simon covers lol his whole " There goes Rhymin Simon" album is just so good.
