4 ഗിയര് ഇട്ടുകഴിഞ്ഞു പിന്നെയും ഗിയര് ഇടാൻ നോക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട് . 5 speed ഗിയര് ആയിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ചിലപ്പോൾ 60 നു മുകളിൽ കയറുമ്പോൾ ഉള്ള vibration കുറയുമായിരിന്നു .

ആ പഴയ സ്‌പ്ലെൻഡറിന്റെ ഭംഗി ഒരിക്കലും ഇതിനു ഇപ്പൊ ഇല്ല. എന്തായായലും ഈ മോഡലിനെ നില നിർത്താൻ ഹീറോ കാണിച്ച മനസ്സ ⚡️

Splendor was my bike during my college days from 1998 to 2005. It was a magnificent piece of automotive engineering with a class of an engine and jewel of a gear box. I still remember the munjalshowa (spelling mistake kaanum) shock absorber and keyhin carborator... I enjoyed a mileage of around 75 kmph,. Joli okke kittiyapol vere bikes palathum vaangi. But still my most fav bike is the splendor. Always a nostalgia towards the beauty.

പണ്ടു കണ്ടു കൊതിച്ച കിനാവിലെ Splendor, ഇന്നും അതെ പ്രൗഡിയിൽ വിലസുന്നു. College il പഠിക്കുന്ന കാലത്ത് ഈ ബൈക്ക് ഒന്നു ഓടിക്കാൻ വളരെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചിരുന്നു.... അന്ന് പുതിയ ബൈക്ക് മേടിക്കാൻ വളരെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടായിരുന്നു. സർക്കാർ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നവർക്ക് ആയിരുന്നു മുൻഗണന... അതൊക്കെ ഒരു കാലം. എന്തായാലും അന്നും ഇന്നും എല്ലാവർക്കും പ്രീയപ്പെട്ട ഒരു വാഹനം എന്നാൽ Splendor ആണ്...

When I bought splendor in 2005 to replace my Suzuki AX100, my boss told me “ this is probably the first right thing you did in your life”….I gave my bike (for a very small price) to the young mechanic who used to maintain it sincerely; when I got my first car. My boss is no more, I am retired…. SPLENDOR GOES ON

1998 2000 kids ഒരിക്കെലും മറക്കാത്ത വണ്ടി പഠിച്ച വണ്ടി എമഹാ rx 100 വരിയിൽ നിന്ന് കളഞ്ഞ വണ്ടി പക്ഷെ rx ഇപ്പോളും ഇഷ്ടം ഉണ്ട് എന്നാലും ആ കാലത്തു തള്ളി കളയിച്ച വണ്ടി 😎

കുഞ്ചാക്കോയുടെ കൂടെ അനിയത്തിപ്രാവിൽ കണ്ട ആ വണ്ടി 1999 മുതൽ എന്റെ സഹചാരി... ഇന്നും ആ മുതൽ എന്റെ കൂടെ ഉണ്ട്..പഴയ ഹീറോ ഹോണ്ട സ്പ്ലെൻഡർ..42000 ഓൺറോഡ്പ്രൈസ്... കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം 35000 തരാമെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ആൾക്കാർ ചോദിച്ചു...വിൽക്കാൻ മനസ്സിൽ പോലും തോന്നാത്ത മുതൽ.. ഇതിന്റെ സൗണ്ട് ഒരു വികാരം ആണ് അന്നും ഇന്നും..ടോപ് മൈലേജ് 87 കിട്ടി .ഇതുവരെ എൻജിഇൻ പണി വന്നിട്ടില്ല. ഒരിക്കൽ കൂടി നന്ദി ഈസ്ടവെനിസ് മോട്ടോർസ് ആലപ്പുഴ. ❤

Splendor ന് ഉള്ള ഒരേ ഒരു നിർവചനം :- humble, simple, durable, affordable.... (2021 മോഡലിനു സ്ലോ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ ഓഫ്‌ ആയിപ്പോകുന്ന സൂക്കേട് ഇണ്ട്. ഇതിൽ അത് മാറിയിട്ടുണ്ടാവുമെന്ന് വിചാരിക്കുന്നു.)

എന്റെ ഇഷ്ട്ട ബൈക്കുകളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് സ്പ്ലണ്ടർ.97 മോഡൽ ഒന്നുണ്ട് കൈയിൽ. സാധാരണ കാരന്റെ ബൈക്ക്. പാർട്സ്ന് മറ്റു വണ്ടികളെ അപേക്ഷചിച്ചു വില വളരെ കുറവ്. നല്ല മൈലേജ്. കുറഞ്ഞ പരിപാലനം ഇത് കൊണ്ടൊക്കെ സ്പ്ലണ്ടർ ഇപ്പോഴും തിളങ്ങി നിൽക്കുന്നു

അന്നു ഹോണ്ടയുടെ ക്വാളിറ്റിയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.. ഇപ്പോൾ അതില്ല... ഹീറോയുടെ പല വാഹനങ്ങളും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചാൽ പല ഘടകങ്ങളും ഗുണമേന്മ കുറവാണ്.... ഇൻഡിക്കേറ്റർ ലൈറ്റുകൾ ഒടിഞ്ഞു തൂങ്ങുക, ഹെഡ്ലൈറ്റ് മങ്ങുക, പല ഭാഗങ്ങളും ഒറ്റ മഴയിൽ തന്നെ തുരുന്പെടുക്കുക, പ്ളാസ്റ്റിക് ഘടകങ്ങൾ വെയിലുകൊണ്ട് പെട്ടെന്നു മങ്ങുകയോ, വെറിച്ചു പോകുകയോ ചെയ്യുക... ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ, ഒരു പക്ഷേ കൂടിയ തുക കൊടുത്ത് വാങ്ങുന്ന കസ്റ്റമർക്ക് വലിയ മനോ വിഷമത്തിനിടവരുത്തുന്നു.. ബജാജ്, ഹീറോ വാഹനങ്ങൾ പൊതുവെ ക്വാളിറ്റി കുറവാണ്... മുടക്കുന്ന പണത്തിനു മൂല്യം കുറെയെങ്കിലും.. യമഹ, ടിവിഎസ് വാഹനങ്ങളിൽ കാണാം.. കാരണം അവർ സ്വന്തം പ്ളാന്റിൽ ഗുണമേന്മയുള്ള അസംസ്കൃത വസ്തുക്കൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു... കുറഞ്ഞ വിലയ്ക്ക് ഘടകങ്ങൾ സപ്ളൈ ചെയ്യുന്നവരിൽ നിന്ന് ഹീറോയും ബജാജും വാങ്ങി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു... ⚠️⚠️⚠️

പണ്ട് ഇതിനോടൊപ്പം Honda ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു . ഇപ്പോൾ Hero ഇറക്കുന്ന വാഹനത്തിന് അന്നത്തേ നിലവാരം പുലർത്തുന്നില്ല . പഴയ വാഹനത്തിന്റെ യാത്ര ലഭിക്കണമെങ്കിൽ Honda CD 100 വാങ്ങുക . Hero ൽ X Pulse 200 നല്ല വാഹനം ആണ്
