The first sound you hear when you start a game.
EDIT: I tried doing a video version of this (where the sun actually rises), but it didn't work as well as I planned. I might try it again sometime in the future though.

If you're referring to the new week/month noise that's on a Sunday technically

@@benengel4270 in homm day 1 is monday because when you visit the temple on day 7 it gives you +2 morale instead of the usual +1 with the modifier being visited temple on sunday

It depends. Unless you finish Sunday in front of the opponent's town or something :)

@@mmarszalek Well I use this as alarm for like almost 2 years now, not even once been mad either when I play the game or when I wake up every morning to it. Its just peaceful and relaxing. At least for me.

That intro used orchestral samples from a music library, which is now licensed under the name EW Scoring Tools. A lot of short music clips for HoMM3 (battle win, etc.) came from this library, too: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mZpxh9CLrb2moXU.html It was probably composed by Lisa Bloom-Cohen many years ago and was being sold under different names. Also the New World Computing intro melody was in that library: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oamaksKotq3PmIk.html

Beat me to it. I just installed the Scoring Tool and randomly tried the preset "Emotion". Hit the first D3 key and it sounded familiar. Lol

I'm not sure, but in some episodes of South park, there are some sounds that sound like sounds from homm3, maybe that comes from the same library
