i saw a rumor just the other day that shang-chi 2 would feature a variety of new characters with iron fist being one of em. but as ya say armin, i'll believe it when i see it.

Newsflash! I don't know how you don't know this already, but Finn Jones is ALREADY 100% back. That was announced at least 2 months ago. If I'm not mistaken, one of the projects he supposed to appear in is the Shang Chi 2 film. There is also an older Iron Fist that's supposed to be featured, but I don't remember the story with that,

Other Netflix characters that haven’t been re-introduced to the MCU have also been members of the Heroes for Hire. This includes Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, and Elektra. If Marvel decides to bring more of them back, they could help fill out the roster. It seems unlikely Marvel would bring back Finn Jones for another season of Iron Fist, but a Heroes for Hire adaptation would make a lot of sense for the current MCU.

Finish off each season of Luke Cage and Iron Fist then, go and do Heros for hire can even do a TV movie then continue the 13-16 episodes, yet will believe it when an official first week of shooting starts.
