Halloween and Samhain has always been a hand made holiday in my family. When it looks natural, it’s more believable and spooky to the kids. Yesterday a little girl and her father walked by our house and said “Daddy, the witch loves there,” 💕 (I have a reputation for the trick-or treaters. And also, YES TO MARTHA! We all know she’s the real Supreme 😉

Not only is your presence a joy to experience; the ideas are inspiring and the colorful image of your hair, clothes, and background are an absolute treat for the eyes. But, most importantly, this video helped me discover that I am an Art Witch! I had never heard those two words put together and have tried on Cottage Witch, Hedge Witch, Green Witch, and other such titles. Those are close but don’t exactly fit my nature. Ever since 2020, we have been making little treat packets for Halloween. We put out a table, and have little paper sacks with a few pieces of candy each. And the paper bags have Halloween stamps all over them as decoration. Might not do it this year since this year has been a nightmare fueled terrible thing. But we like making pretty little treats for the trick or treaters.

My favorite part of autumn is gathering the fallen nature that's taking its rest for the season 🥰 Pumpkin seeds are simply too delicious for me not to roast them though! Its my second favorite part of autumn, being able to make little delicious snacks! But corn husk dying is such a good idea i never knew of! I definitely want to try my hand at it!

Everytime you upload it puts a smile on my face, how could we not be uplifted by the infectious energy of our artwitch auntie?!

None of my pumpkin seeds last because my family and I eat them up quickly. It's an autumn tradition to roast them and eat them warm out of the oven with lots of salt. But they would make a great owl.

I was thinking if I turned off my lights and lit candles to grimoire (verb) I have these lights up all year. A set of soft orange colored pine cones, and a set of blue snow flakes. So my candle light would be interesting colored. ❤

Question: what do you use to set your collages. For example, I am a paper crafter and just made my own set of “oracle” cards, but want to cost them to protect them. Don’t want to use modge podge as I did that on a journal before and the pages stuck together.
