As much as I want a calendar alternative to Google, this isn't it. The biggest issue with Hey (and it goes for email as well) is that it's all locked to their app. You can't share the calendar with another application -- only another Hey user.

The day Google calendar and tasks I adds back a natural language option for fast input, it's over for other calendar apps

I also signed up for Hey as a paid customer and gave up using it after some weeks. So many limitations within their walled garden and processing e-mails was slower than using Spark or Superhuman.

I am only 2 minutes into exploring the calendar app and this is the best calendar app to ever happen to my neurodivergent brain. Excited to use it for the next couple of weeks to see if my initial reaction sustains. Thanks for the review!

I tried Hey email for a couple of years. My biggest challenge was that, being a fresh start, it was a lot of work. Accept or reject. I didn’t have the time nor mental bandwidth to put that much time into it. I worry the same on their Calendar based on what I’ve seen. Plus it’s so loaded with stuff that it looks daunting.

If I've understood correctly, the Calendar is available only in a bundle that includes a hosted email address at Hey. The calendar is not available the "custom domain" plan for use with my (several) existing email addresses... and evenif the calendar were included with my existing well-established email addresses were, I'd have to purchase an account for each of my domains. The pricing model tells me very clearly that I am not their ideal customer. Fine, their business, so they choose the business model... but I wonder what market they can address!

The thing I love about this guy is how unproductive his channel on productivity is … a classic insight of him goes as follows: „this app is very interesting… it is something between a and b“ … Meanwhile we are shown promotional videos of the app and listen to elevator music. wow! This channel is deeeep, man.

Try to Google the word review; it doesn't comply with any definition of that word. It's a commercial scripted presentation, maybe worth the time to watch, but not a review.

I just can't get on board with this calendar... I much prefer Amie and I have since deleted Hey Calendar. I do like the 'Sometime this week' todos but that is not enough for me to stay. The UI is messy and it feels a little disjointed from the Hey Email as that UI feels great!
