It was 95 degrees under a sweltering sun and these boys stacked 2 loads of hay behind a New Holland small square baler. The rest of the field was done with a large square New Holland baler.

been there done that for 51 yrs and actually enjoyed it and my wife worked along side of me i mowed , raked and baled , while my mother with cancer and my wife and three kids helped

I think this is the first cutting. it is very heavy. yes the baler with the motor was used by the Amish.

Is this first or second cutting? Also it appears the small New Holland square baler has a motor as well as PTO was this once used by an Amish farmer although it does have rubber tires?

Vernum Richard Wildermuth pto,and a motor,it looks odd.Has it been pto converted?did it come with both?pto was hooked up n the JD was workn,looks like the motor was off.

I wish I had a dollar for every bail of hay I have thrown and stacked and un-stacked. Man I have bucked hay all over the Mid west. Man if City kids had to do that they would be crying mommy I can't do this it's to hard. Girls if you want a man worth his salt so to say, find a real country farm boy and you will be loved and respected far more than by lazy city dudes,
