Clifford Kauffman a local farmer passed away on Sept. 2, 2017 in a horse accident. His brother Larry and Virgil had neighbors show up yesterday and help combine 130 acres of corn. Clifford was a local propane gas delivery man, farmer and lover of horses and his grandchildren. He is missed by family and community.

I wish there was more of these stories on the news instead of all the doom and gloom that we see all the time. There are still good people in the world glad to see some of them. God bless you all.

Ernie: Thanks for sharing this video. This helps restore my faith in humanity in these dark days. Those helping with recovery efforts after natural disasters throughout our nation and the world need to be thanked and praised. Neighbors being Neighbors how great!!

Jesse Forry We had a barn fire many years ago and our neighbors came and helped. We were able to milk that night. Farmers help each other.

Nothing unusual about that here where I live in Kansas. And if they need to they’ll have benefits to help out with family expenses that’s what u call small town living and living on the farm

As a kid I would go up to my uncles farm in North Wales, UK. One summer the next door neighbour wasn't too well so morning and evening my cussen would go and milk his cows and I joined him. Morning the farmer's wife would give us hot cocoa with bread and dripping, afternoons it would be tea and a slice of cake. later when he was OK he and his wife came and helped harvest strawberries, and we all sat in the barn and ate home cured ham sandwiches. It was great to work together made even better when we ate together. BS
