The plaintiff says he was driving on the highway when the defendant crashed into the side of his car and took off. Turns out she had no license and was in a rental. He’s suing for the cost of the repairs. The defendant insists the plaintiff sideswiped her, not the other way around. She’s countersuing for repairs and emotional distress.

Something similar happened to me. A woman hit my car while I was in the store shopping and tried to leave but people saw and kept her there saying they got her license plate and would call the police. She gave me her number and sped off. I got quotes on the damage ($2,000) and she yelled at me saying her husbands friend could fix it for $100. I said I didn’t feel comfortable doing that and she never responded to me again after that. I should have went after her but I was 18 and sadly didn’t know I had any recourse at the time.

This defendant is not capable of living on her own or managing her own business, she's not quite mature enough to understand how the world works, but she must have a wonderful mother, who's raised her and sheltered her and kept her innocent, and that's nice - but she's going to have a steep learning curve when she starts her own life.

Her negative behaviors, which have been rewarded throughout her life by others is the reason why she is so irresponsible and annoying! In my country driving without insurance is illegal. The cops will confiscate the car for that. Driver then has to get insurance and pay storage for the car too. And rental companies won't rent a car unless you agree to insurance.

I’m sure your country has an amazing economy as well because that’s the whole game in the United States you know they’re trying to make people in that themselves so that’s why they don’t make you get insurance on a rental.. same reason why they allow people that made no money to take out $100,000 just because they have “good credit” technically it is illegal to drive around with no insurance but they’re not gonna send you to jail for that they’ll just give you tickets..

I don't at all share the judge's "enjoyment" of the defendant. I find her attitude super annoying. Not cute nor funny one iota. The poor plaintiff looked so stressed the whole time. I'm sure he was not jiving with the judge's amusement of the defendant, either.

What was the problem with her having a good attitude about the whole thing I think that’s what everyone wanted her to feel what sad about it she wanted to get it over with.. if she would’ve had an attitude yall would be in here calling her all types of names but because she has a good attitude about the thing you’re saying she’s disrespectful.. weird..
