This is my in-depth review of the Hiboy S2R Electric Scooter, which gives you 17 mile range at a max speed of 19 MPH with its single front-wheel drive 350W brushless motor. It’s packed with a ton of features, but is it any good? Watch to find out!

that's a great video and i give you an excellent presentation for it. however if anyone should need a replacement part for it (because of wear and tear or maybe poor quality), its not so easy or should i say difficult to find parts for it. As for me, i have been searching for a replacement folding mechanism for hiboy s2r and i haven't found 1 yet. This scooter was bought at amazon and they (seller) don't have parts for sale. I'm curious to know if ninebot g30 folding mechanism is compatible with hiboy s2r folding mechanism. i sure would appreciate an input good or bad.

I think they mean the plastic hook that secures the folding mechanism. I just got the scooter two days ago and already broke that piece because I forget to slide the hook before unlocking the latch. Terminology being tricky at times like as example range.... Hill degrees In general I've rarely seen a hill marked with a degree posting. By rarely I might mean NEVER! I know the mathematical way to determine degree but by looking at a local hill I have no idea how's I get the numbers to do the math. Thus in all cases tells no me the degree gout device can handle means almost nothing. That seems risky as a potential consumer. Oh and by handle are we talking the scooter can climb on it's own and is there wiggle room if one I'd OK with significant speed reduction or that and assisting the scooter with kicks during the climb. Terminology being key.

@chris
@chris 3 жыл бұрын
I touched on that in my review... it's all about the power of the motor and your weight. It didn't last long for me either. So it's great for slight inclines and flat surfaces but if you want a hill climber you'll need to spend more money for a 2 motor scooter or a single that has a lot more power.

This one is not bad but anyone is better off not getting the s2 or s2 pro. S2R is almost the same , only difference is the price is cheaper for the s2 and a 250w motter. Plus the s2 has rear suspension and the S2R doesn't. S2 pro cost $80 more and everything is better on it compared to the S2R. To me, theres not much of a good reason to buy an S2R besides being the latest model

Don't buy this scooter, very bad product. I have the Hiboy S2R, I bought it on June last year and it's almost new, 20 rides max I put in it and on Sunday I tried to start it to ride it and it didn't start, battery is fine, it simply does not start when you press the on/off button, you hear a beep and a brief screen light up and after that nothing happens. I emailed support and they responded me back with a bunch of youtube videos of how to repair it, they say the controller, the dashboard and the assembly line needed to be replaced. Very bad product, they retailed this for almost 500 when I bought it and in 1 year with barely use already broken. Next one I buy needs to have a place where I can take it for repairs, nothing from this company.
