HID Kit Installation Reverse Polarity by HID Auto Vision

10 жыл бұрынOne of the most common questions regarding aftermarket HID Kits is Why does nothing come on at all? The most common solution is reverse polarity. In this video we will demonstrate how to reverse the polarity on your HID Kit. By reversing the polarity you are simply putting the positive and negative wires back to the correct sides. Since aftermarket HID Kits are not vehicle specific the pin out of the positive and negative wires can be reversed which is the problem this solves. Thank you HID Auto Vision! This video is right on the money. I just purchased a HID kit for my 06 Chevy Equinox and ran into the issue you described-the lights didn't come on when I plugged everything up. I was just about to take the kit back to the store and came across this video. I followed the directions-flipping the plug over and now I have lights!

Good video. I had to do this on my 98 Silverado. Lowers the heart rate knowing nothing is wrong ;)

Man this was so helpful my hids on my 2017 polaris would only work with a relay kit when I plugged they kit it was supposed to connect and the lights would not turn on. Then I used a relay kit which was provided and the bulbs turned on. How ever a pain to hide the huge wire harness on a atv I tried this reverse polarity and the hid started to work and I removed the relay kit.. awesome video and really helpful. I kept the wire in place by wrapping electrical tape around the connection and then placing a zap strap on top.

I was testing my HID ballast with my battery charger and I had the polarity right the first time but when connecting the other bulb it must have been reverse polarity and it sparked so now in scared if i have a broken ballast now

Just installed hid on my 2015 Ford F150 all lights work but once I start the truck that he Hid turn off, again everything works with the light which turn to on position but once I start the truck headlights turn off, Can anybody tell me what is the problem I don’t have the relay into the system need help thank you

My HIDs wouldnt turn on till i connected my hid ballast to my vehicle connector while having reverse polarity

This is cheeseball and unprofessional to flip locking connectors and zip tie them in place! I don't know if you guys actually sell anything, but after seeing this, there's no way I would buy anything from you. That crap just doesn't cut it!
