Join us for a tour of three of the Best Kept Secrets in the gorgeous county of Pembrokeshire in South Wales. Please let me know which of them you have visited… or which you want to visit after I show you a peek at how amazing they are!
We’ll start in a small village with a stunningly picturesque castle and mill, then stop by the most unique chapel I think I’ve ever seen and finish with a visit to a little village with a big castle.
Please SUBSCRIBE to be a part of the Magenta Otter Tribe for future adventures in Wales, other parts of Britain and beyond! Cheers! XX Dara

Dara and Ian, thank you so much for all the effort you put into making these travelogues. I'm looking forward to seeing the videos of what you've been doing in the North East this week. Which of you likes curry sauce with chips? It's my favourite thing to eat.

That is so kind of you to say! It is a ton of work, but we are always so happy to have a record of our travels that we can view later and enjoy.💕 We have had fish and chips a few times lately, but I’m sorry to report we have not been eating curry sauce! We had fish and chips at the Beamish Museum today, and they didn’t even have tomato ketchup! It was pretty traumatic for Ian 😂… He was forced to survive with just vinegar and salt!

We loved your and Ian's visit to these three marvelous secrets. The ruins of Carew Castle are stunning! Looks like a castle should and the mill was fun to see too. Beautiful high cliffs on the cost. Just a picture perfect place for a gorgeous chapel! I would agree with Gerald and find it quite pleasant to live in a castle. Lovely drone footage! Now, to your original question. We haven't seen any of them till now and we would love to visit all three! Thanks so much for bringing us along.

Really enjoyed that Dara and nice to know that Ian is from Carmarthenshire ancestry and you could visit there. I loved Carew Castle, and the 11th century cross was beautiful as was the mill there which I think you said was the only tidal mill in existence in Wales? that was interesting to know and nice to see the mill equipment in the museum. That dam there was so picturesque, shame you felt a bit sluggish though 😄 Absolutely stunning Chapel in the rock ( can't remember which place that was at !) And hearing that missionaries lived there in caves . Also loved Manorbier Castle, that was beautiful and so was the 1100s St James Church. Really good tour of these places . We definitely need to visit that area. Have a great day and will catch you soon. We're off camping again early tomorrow morning until late Thursday so I'll catch any videos when we return ( bad signal where we're going and no electric hook up to charge phones ! ) 💕

Wonderful and informative as always. I've been inside Carew Castle and it's very interesting as some of the original heraldry still exists and if you're ever back in that area it's worth the time to go inside. But it was in ruin for quite a long time so like so many other castles the best part is learning about it's history and use your imagination as to what it must have been like to actually live there. If I remember correctly it was very important during their Civil War.

I definitely would like to go back and visit inside the castle. The funny thing about Wales is that there are so stinking many castles!
