Where do you have your mixer and faucet for the shower? I couldn’t see the details in the video? And do you hook the curtain up by the individual holes or? I love the build and usefulness all round.

@@charisma-hornum-fries - The hot and cold water are mixed in the heat exchanger that also heats the water. Yes, we have individual hooks on the shower curtain. It’s a bit of a pain to hang the curtain. Are you doing a van for yourself?

Faucet is a hand-held version stored in the shower.

Another great build! Would have been great to see the shower deployed to get a sense of how long it takes to set up/breakdown. Great finishing on the woodwork and trim.

Actually, it only takes about 5 minutes to deploy the shower. We tend to shower in the evening and leave it up to dry overnight. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to put away.

Nothing better than a van designed with the input from seasoned users themselves. In Product Development we call these customers "KEY users". They ALWAYS bring aboard lots of good solutions based on their first-hand experience. BTW, the shower and toilet are the best option for these vans IMHO. By avoiding a big monolith inside such small space it is possible have a more open, clear space. Much better. Congratulations for the build.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for mentioning the induction cooktop and the solar required to power it!!! I find noone really mentions much about induction and solar but it's the only way forward for me. So much safer with no flame, its times so even if I forget, it won't. Add solar power and it effectively pays for itself.

Really impressive. Although I’d probably put the toilet and shower together. But the idea itself is creative. I agree the feeling of big open spaces is important.

Overall this was a will thought out review with great sound quality and video editing. The van layout appears to be carefully designed for 2 people to be able to live in a restricted living space. In my opinion, with all the features in the living area alongside the upgrades made to the vehicle this Camper gets high marks. Thanks for sharing.

I was wondering about where to get one of those. I love that mini side by side fridge, but not it’s it is $2K!! A little too rich for my diabetic blood! Haha

The induction/solar got me overwhelmingly excited but I came for the toilet/shower innovation. Wasn't disappointed in the slightest. I was considering a similar version but as a seat to hide the toilet and wondering if it would be too high and never thought of a benchtops. LOVE IT!!! This build is beautiful all round.

We have been using it for about 8 months now and we are very pleased. The box is well insulated on the sides. We had to add additional airflow across the compressor to make it work a little better during the hot summer but otherwise we have had not issues.

Great ideas! But, what induction cooktop can they power with just 400 Amps battery and 400 Watts solar? I'd really hope to fit one on my build, but the math doesn't add, the last time I ran the numbers it was 700 Amps and 1k watts... What am I missing? Thanks for the amazing video!

Thanks for the comment Marco! It depends on the cooktop and the client. They have a single burner induction cooktop and they are often moving to different camping spots off grid, charging their batteries with their alternator, or when they come through a town they usually stop at a designated camp site and charge up.

For our style of camping we have not had any problems. As the Campovans folks said, we tend to be on the move every couple of days. Between the alternator, solar panels and periodic charge it has worked great. We should mention that we are very experienced living off grid in RVs and boats and tend to use our power sparingly.

I watched to see the shower and toilet. You never mentioned the toilet name I was really interested in seeing how the shower curtain worked but you never showed it. You never told me where I could get the parts to make my own shower curtain set up

The hidden shower is nothing new..Many pop-up tent style campers in the 80's utilized this idea with a combo sit shower with a cassette toilet all in one tidy low compartment..in fact, the walls even folded up and out to create a private room..Look up Coleman pop up wet bath..many good ideas from the older RV's!!

We don’t tend to travel to hot climates. We decided to not include it in this build. However, we were careful to leave the correct size hole and wiring should we want to add one in the future.

I will never understand these vans that have "glorious amounts of counter space." The only place you have to sit and relax is the factory seats?? no thanks, this van gives me back aches and hip bruises just looking at it.
