Isnt that what exaclty what Abu Bakr said when he was appointed the khalifah? Islam has only empowered the Khalifah to implement the rules and protect the rights of all people. Especially since the women marry away from home, they think they automatically inherit the home/village. What needs correcting is this mentality and the punishment that they will receive. This is not a gender battle we can not judge until we know what’s going on with both parties. Sometimes u get women that have lack of responsibility and not deserving for this inheritance. Sometimes it is the guy that doesn’t deserve the inheritance. All depends on the situation and it should be analyzed by a shaykh than rather publicly talking about it And no not all women are victims some could be lying.

There are women out there that think that giving up their inheritance is "common" or "the polite, lady-like thing to do", and therefore, they give it up. Firstly, it's Inheritance Law according to Allah so no one's emotional manipulation matter only the execution of Law according to Shariah matters. Secondly, I've witnessed the opposite though in many cases some personal others locally as well. Like my mom and her sister are already informed that they won't be given any share in inheritance saying it was too less to split up.Even though she is struggling but my aunt is struggling more.

For example the guy gets more in inheritance to take care of the family if not for them and for himself he is not entitled. E.I. Women prostitutes or sells drugs does not rightfully entitled for this inheritance. Non religious people can not use sharia law to justify their inheritance unless they willing to practice their beliefs. The father and mother sets the inheritance fairly to family. This religion is not a game and should not be used for peoples needs. Inheritance ruling is used for pure practicing Muslims.

But if they have children, then ˹your share is˺ one-fourth of the estate-after the fulfilment of bequests and debts. And your wives will inherit one-fourth of what you leave if you are childless. But if you have children, then your wives will receive one-eighth of your estate-after the fulfilment of bequests and debts. And if a man or a woman leaves neither parents nor children but only a brother or a sister ˹from their mother’s side˺, they will each inherit one-sixth, but if they are more than one, they ˹all˺ will share one-third of the estate-after the fulfilment of bequests and debts without harm ˹to the heirs˺. ˹This is˺ a commandment from Allah.
