Hey it's not less.. it depends on your BMR. And in order to loose weight you need to eat in calorie deficit. So let's say if you are around 80kg then your maintenance calories is around 2000 per day but if you eat 1500 calories per day and do some exercises or 10k steps walking you will loose weight.
