My Father-in-law is from 🇬🇾 GUYANA and makes a version of this every day. He is 70+ years old and is as healthy as a fiddle! I’ve eaten/drank this a few times and I wasn’t hungry for about 6 hours afterwards. He doesn’t use the seeds, nuts or dates. He uses banana, regular milk and oats and whips it up in the blender and heats it on the stove. He’s the Best Dad! 🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕💕

I recently tried out your high-protein oats breakfast smoothie recipe, and I must say, it was fantastic! Your unique approach to cooking without sugar and milk really stood out. The smoothie was not only delicious but also packed with nutrients, making it perfect for weight loss. I used True Elements Rolled oats as per your recommendation, and the result was amazing. The texture and flavour were spot on, and it made the smoothie even more satisfying. Thank you for sharing such a great recipe. Looking forward to trying more of your healthy creations!

I was sceptical ‘no milk of any kind?’ but this is delicious. Made as stated except I didn’t rinse the oats... even put a cinnamon stick in not expecting it to fully blend 😉 The result, a creamy delicious, sweet but not sickly sweet, smoothie full of good clean ingredients. Thank you so much for this.... I’ll be making it again and again for sure 😋

I was having digestive issues and found this recipe. Not only is it flavorful and gives me energy to start off my morning, I also pooped stuff out from back in my teenage days. Right when I thought I was done pooping, that's when the s**t got real. After spending an hour and a half of the throne and praying to God to grant my butthole mercy, the relief finally came as one last peanut dropped out. I felt amazing. Thanks for the great recipe.

Great set of recipes!!! I'll be trying them all. FWIW, if you are using a Nutribullet, add the ingredients in this order: ► Step 1 - Veggies (1 cup) ► Step 2 - Fruits (1.5 cups) ► Step 3 - Thickener (optional, 1-2 tbsp) ► Step 4 - Boosters (flavour + nutrition) ► Step 5 - Liquid (1 cup or 250 ml) The cup will be inserted into the blender upside down, thus a different order.

Hello, and thank you for your oat smoothie recipe. It is almost exactly how I make mine. I did soak the oats, as I normally do not, along with the chia and flax seeds and the protein powder that I always add. It helped to make it very thick and smooth. I also did not see the need to drain and rinse the oats. The addition of the cinnamon was a very nice touch. Delicious!! Thanks from the island of Maui. :)

Interesting. Can you substitute walnuts for the peanuts? And usually when I have oats for breakfast, I cook up 1/2 cup oats with 1 cup water. Here you are only using 3 Tbsp, that's less than 1/4 cup. Doesn't seem like much fiber with so little oats. But the recipe definitely looks YUMMY! I will be trying it for sure.

Great smoothie. Peanut butter also works in place of the peanuts and I use ground flax meal because it's what I have on hand. So glad that I have started keeping dates on hand and frozen bananas work for me. Thank you for a healthy delicious (cholesterol lowering) smoothie!

I would be more concern with triglycerides than total cholesterol. Eating high carbohydrate food tends to make you obese and increase your plasma triglycerides along side your blood glucose key markers for cardiovascular disease.

Phytates are also in the peanuts and chia seeds and flax seeds, so if you are that concerned about it, you should be soaking all of those ingredients.

Probably, but manageable amounts. In this video, Oats in particular will give some people like me gas issues. Same applies to dry beans. An over night soaking does 'magic'.

Replace banana with apple. Also you can replace raw peanuts with peanut butter. You can add 5 6 almonds to it. You can also add a scoop of your whey protein powder.

The grain ferments while being soaked overnight. This process adds to beneficial gut bacterial and makes more nutrients available for digestion.

@@alexmorgan3435 Why do you say this? She is using rolled oats & not instant oats. Oats is high in soluble fiber & rolled oats has higher contents of fiber. 3 tablespoon of oat is abt 30gms only. Oat has low glycemic index of 55,& low glycemic load of below 10. With peanut & dates surely is a healthy breakfast meal.

@@revasgs6038 Do you not understand that that oats are carbohydrates, that carbohydrates are broken down to sugar? Fibre is carbohydrate although humans don't possess the enzymes to break it down unlike a cow which does. Peanuts are principally carbs, fat and some protein. Dates are pure sugar, fructose which is bad. Glycemic index makes little difference to how food is metabolised. OK carbs with lower glycemic index will take a little longer to metabolise but not much longer. If you believe this recipe is healthy keep on filling your face with it. You'll end up pre-diabetic and with any luck insulin resistant developing T2 diabetes.

So what is the point of draining and throwing the water away. A lot of goodness is in there ? Peanuts need to be careful as they alternate crops with cotton and they spray cotton with weed killer which is around in the ground for many years Interesting combination looks great Cheers
