i need advice, I'm currently in a small private school and i'm in grade 10 which means i just started highschool (that's the school system in Atlantic canada lol) I have 5 subjects this semester and out of 5 i have 2 that i'm already very bad at especially math. I understand mostly nothing in both (Math and Computer Programming) after a few days i realized its the teacher not me, i dont understand her teaching style at all. i feel like I'm gonna fail this year (plus this affects my chances of getting a scholarship) what should i do? (sorry i feel like im just our here complaining and spreading negative energy :c )

it's totally OK! even tho I'm in a grade less than yours I think these could work! u can like write down what she says or record the lesson and then re watch and rephrase her wordings in a way that u understand or a simpler way is to go through the lesson before she does, if you already understand the lesson it ll help you understand her teaching style. I hope this helps u somehow💕

no you’re not complaining or spreading negativity!! you’re more than welcome to vent here haha. i’m sorry for the late reply, life has been hectic lately! in my experience, i think the best thing you can do when you have a teacher whose teaching style you don’t understand is to just find online resources or other people who can better explain it. i’m not sure about computer programming but i know there are a few channels on youtube who are really good for explaining math (ex: organic chem tutor and khan academy) what kind of math are you taking specifically? i might be able to help you better if i know the specific subject. but how is school going now? i hope things get better
