I found this little beauty in a pawn shop and haggled myself a good deal. Out the door for $175. This is a 1962 model, according to my research, and it is in fantastic condition and shoots like a dream! It just goes to show, yet again, why buying used is sometimes the best option. I was looking at another well made/known .22 revolver in the same price range but this one caught my eye and the quality was undeniable. The good looks only add to the perfect functionality and ease of shooting. It drives tacks! It is also single/double action, and it is stainless. The nostalgia is also something I'm a sucker for...What a great old revolver!

It is nickel plated. I bought mine in 1962 and I still have it. It is very accurate and very nice handling and I love it. I think you got a great deal. I think I paid around $65 for it new with a nice light brown holster. My nickel has started to peel a little but I still love it. You got a real bargain for$175 in today's money. It is worth a lot more to me.

I have one that I bought for $58 at K Mart in 1962. I have used it in the desert a few times this winter and it it very accurate even used at double action.. Much cheaper to shoot that my 22 Mag auto loader.

Engineered to be manufactured cheaply, but maid of quality components. I pick mine up tomorrow 04/05/21. Like you I’ve done lots of research. I did pay more then you did. And mine is a 1956, model 929 from a collection never fired. So I hope it shoots as good as yours. Thanks for the video.

blue collar is right. a friend of mine had one of these and almost every time i saw him i would ask to shoot it. first off,i have normal male size hands and there is something about the grip and where you see the sights that is magic. i cant imagine shooting a better designed pistol. point it hit it. if it was made today it would sell-out all year long. thanks for the video.

I have one, just bought a .22 mag cylinder tonight that cost me more than the revolver did, but I just wanted it for the reasons you stated, it's a great little gun, and I had a bunch of .22 mag ammo from several pistols ago lol. loved the video, thank you

I bought one from my cousin, who is a buy and, try, then sale for quick cash, kinda guy. I bought the gun with a leather holster, and I can't even remember how many boxes of ammo for like $ 50.00 bucks! My Boss at the time was an avid hunter and, shooter and, I mentioned it to him because, I didn't even know what a Double Nine was and, I knew He would. He told me he had been looking for one for years and, would buy it himself. He mentioned a price 3 times higher that he would give to buy it ,so I thought what the heck. I didn't really have any use for or really even want it. I went and looked at it liked it and, bought it. I never sale, only buy (Horder) as my wife call's it (ME)! HA, HA,HA! My Uncle had bought it new back in the day! This thing had never been shot but a few times, and I've only shot it maybe 2 times in 20 years! Like New! My Boss called me a $HIT@$$ for buying it because, He wanted it BAD! TOO BAD!! HA,HA! "Rah"! SEMPER FI...........................................

I have that is identical to this one. My dad had it when he was a boy and his papa carried it when he was sheriff. I have an issue with it right now though. When shooting you get 1 round off and it jams. When I take the bullets out and try to dry fire ut won't turn and hammer will not go back until you help it. Do you have any idea what i could do to fix it?

Yes you are correct. I misspoke. I have been looking around for a decent leather holster. I got a great deal for this gun. I really like it a lot. We have some world champion rattlers in south Georgia (eastern Diamondbacks) and that's one reason I bought this, but some of our rattlers are as big around as my leg so I wouldn't hesitate to use a .357...LOL! Thanks for watching. I love your username!
